CyanogenMod for Droid 5.0.5.7

I heard that the Cyanogenmod has long press volume functionality to skip songs with the default music player, so I decided to try it out.

Where can I find the settings to do this? Im looking at the music player settings and I don't see any option for this.

I believe you are correct but I font play music much so I haven't played with much. Ill play around with it and see.

Does anyone know how to load anything onto the new Ultimate Droid 10 that was downloaded off of rom manager? I have tried and it locks up at the M at boot?

What are you trying to load?

Actually i think it was an all blue theme that you made that i cant find anymore for meta morph?

The one I made in a MM format won't work anymore due to changes in cyanogens rom. I will have an update soon though that will work through rom manager and also sprecovery.

i got that latest smoked glass theme installed. i really dont care for it. anyone know how to remove it?

Just install cyanogen rom again... it will wipe the theme and you will be back to the stock cyan theme.

what is the recommended kernel for this? my phone seems to not do well with LV ones. so far chevy MV 1.1ghz 7 slot has always worked except on this rom..
I actually had to revert back to ud9 while I figure out what kernel will work best.

edit: it looks like bekits are only ones that work with apps2sd, I will explore them.

R1Lover...just letting you know that someone out there appreciates what you are doing on here. I like the fact that you are really frequenting this board and helping out as many people as you can. Like you, I deserted UD for Cyanogen and am not looking back. Keep up the good work and I can't wait until you get a solid theme up and running to support this ROM.

thanks again!

so with cyanogen .7 the only problem i'm having so far using launcher is trying to find how to add more screens. i thought you could add more am i wrong?

(edit) also i thought you could make switching between screens look like the app drawer. the 3d effect?

another thing, my alarm clock doesn't work anymore...are there any fixes for this or am I the only person this has happened to?

Nop. You not the only one my alarm did not work today

I was late for work :) :icon_ banana:

My alarm also did not go off this morning, so that makes 3 of us that I know of that are having this issue... I am reading the forum at cyanogenmod.com now to see if there have been any other reports or fixes mentioned. This ROM section is fairly new to droidforums.net, so I want to make sure I have covered all my bases. If I find anything I will post a follow-up...:)

Edit: I was able to resolve this issue by double checking my Alarm Volume settings... Seems to be down by default in the Nandroid Recovery Image... Can anyone confirm this?

holy crap, so it wasn't just me. I overslept over 3 hours this morning!! haha
I thought it worked the night before, but I had just loaded it and trying it out.

Ok, I'm giving Cyanogen a try right now via Rom manager. UD10, has been giving me some flakey things today, switching wallpapers by itself, and also with smart keyboard not having any landscape typing ability. I never had that problem with 9.8 or 8.0. I did install UD 10.0 via Rom manager, so that may be what the problem was for me. Ohhh well, hope Cyanogen works out well for me!

Thanks for the info on this forum guys!

You will like it cyanogen roms are by far the fastest out there try a bekit or p3 droid kernel.I like the p3 droid kernel the best 1000 ghz good work again guys
