D1-miui-1.1.22.1

Anyone else tried the terminal command in the OP?

This?:
"rm -rf /data/system/theme*"

well i'm just wondering what the asterisk is for. this syntax is for a removal, so i'm thinking that the asterisk is for the input of the name of the theme. like theme.mzt right? or would it just delete the data for the theme's cache? i haven't tried it but i can see how that would work.

It deletes all of the folders that start with the word theme in the data/system folder. You can also delete the folders manually, should be 2 folders.

oh ok. sorta like starting fresh huh? and then letting the themes create the folder themselves right? hmm....thanks for the response. but i typed in just that without * and nothing happened. am i supposed to plug in the name of something or........??

no....you tipe it just like i showed with the asterisk :p, and yes this is just an attempt at a fix....

Yeah, type the asteric. It restores the default theme a lot faster the the theme manager though hha. Still couldn't get a theme to install unfortunately. Spent forever messing with it to get it how I like and was hoping I could install it but was a no go.

thanks for the responses guys and the great clarification. i'm teaching myself all this linux jargon and you guys are helping me a lot. :D

Has most of the Chinese been converted to English in this version?m

I was just about to say the same thing. Apprently not. I was checking out the online fonts in theme mgr and the whole thing was in Chinese. I hope they translate this in future releases. I use the font from miui evolution 4.0 as my font. I love the darkedge font, i use it in all the roms I flash.

The chinese in the font manager is not part of the rom. That is housed on the chinese miui server. Going to be tough to translate those fonts. Then again chinese fonts probably wouldn't work so well.

Props to Jamezelle and everyone else who had a hand in porting this. This is probably the best one I've ran to date. I had no problem loading up my theme, but i had wifi activated (not sure if it's coinsidence or what). Very smooth, no homescreen FC's. It just keeps getting better. Keep up the good work. kudoos

thanks for the update.. happy to hear this one is running smooth!

EDIT: keyboard backlight doesnt work as stated by many already.. thanks in advance for your projected fix jamezellle

Oh Well. Thats cool. It would be nice to have a list of fonts like they have in UD to apply. But I'm cool with what I got now. Keep up the good work , guys!!
