Thanks guys... last question is if I chose to use RSD and SBF....starting from scratch, but my device doesnt show up in RSD....what do I do? (current situation why I'm asking)....

What version of RSD?

RSD 4.8, and @ gmenfan83, I remember using the moto drivers long ago when I last used RSD (MANY months ago...I'm sure I will need updated ones) but I cant find instructions on how or where to install the drivers...there was an article before explaining everything in detail but I cant find it now....

do you have debugging enabled ...also maybe try to switch between usb modes,,,imtrying to find a good driver download

I saw those instructions but I was under the impression that those instructions were for fixing the DX if you were on the leaked version from a while back....and I'm gonna DL the RSD 4.9 version since I had 4.8....thanks.

are you using the right sbf?if you are using the happy holidays sbf from mdw....320 full sbf then you have to extract the actual sbf from the download file

were you on ds?i beleive you were on .340 if so you cant flash the 2.3.15 ,,,you need the .320 sbf ,,,then when you flash that you need to use the .340 update zip to get to speed
