DarkSlide V4 - .340 ROM - Style, Quadrant, Linpack Champ

Happy Holidays? no....I got the one that reads "VRZ_MB810_2.3.15_1FF_01.sbf"

were you on ds?i beleive you were on .340 if so you cant flash the 2.3.15 ,,,you need the .320 sbf ,,,then when you flash that you need to use the .340 update zip to get to speed

ahhhh, so now I need the .320 SBF....then am I using RSD to do the .340 too? cause I see your refering to that one as a .zip file......(?)

Nope...it'll ask you which you want to use...you can check the "use this by default" box if you want... I think you'll like xScope...I highly recommend it...been using it since I had the D1 running Android 2.0

Thank you, I going to use it as my default. Changing subjects, when I was downloading from the app market, the update icon appeared. I clicked on it and Facebook app was automatically updating. I forgot I checked the box for auto-updates,but wasn't able to update. I running black facebook, is that the reason?

Might be....this is why I had you rename the original FB file rather than deleting it...if you want the update, delete the black facebook from system/app and rename the real facebook back to .apk. then you should be able to update no problem..

**edit** just read the description...either they forgot to update the description or they didn't change anything in the update...

That was the message I received after the update failed to install. You were correct about renaming facebook back to apk.

A BIG THANK YOU to JMTownsend83 for your help....I'm BACK! lol... I'm about to SBF the .340 file in a sec...This was a good thing, in the end, cause my phone was acting buggy anyway and I wasnt seeing the battery life everyone else talks about before I got into this "bootloader screen" mess... I went through just about all the "good" ROMs out there and DS was my last stop... I LOVE this ROM but as I said, I wasnt getting the batt life and it recently started acting buggy. I planned to wipe and reinstall but ended up trying something else (wont even mention that foolishness....lmao) and got myself into a mess that you guys were able to get me out of!!! Now I can start fresh and hopefully see ALL the improvements to my phone with this ROM installed... Gotta love it! Thanks again JMTownsend83, chkmate and gmenfan83 for your help today....
