Data issues getting worse?!?

Lost data today for over 4 hours. Nothing worked to get it back. Reboot, etc. Losing faith in the Bionic. No wonder everyone has an I-Phone.
This is the first time I've had this problem with the Bionic. I live in the Bay Area with strong 4g signals and didn't have any data for most of the day. It still has not returned.

has to be a verizon network thing..... been losing data since 6pm eastern... and still acting up. wont get on lte and 3g comes and goes

I seriously think big red is working on a fix for the bionic. Maybe this update is just Weeks away. Too many bionics only are messing up. Has to be a bionic thing. Lucky I have wifi cuz I havent seen 3g in about 2 hours.

Okeeyyyy then. My 3g just went out again and my gf's iphone has it just fine. Like Nitricacid posted.. I hope they are working on our phones as we type this because of the vast majority of us having problems... associated to mostly our phones.

Darnit... she's on facebook on her iphone 4 and my Bionic is a dud. What a shame... big shame. I have been let down once again...lol. I rag on iphones.. and now they all can diss me... every day

Was just thinking about posting a thread about this same issue today. In my case it has definitely gotten worse. First it was just 4g, then it happened more often with 4g, then I switched to CDMA only and it was fine, then it started with 3g, and now it happens at least once a day with 3g.

I find this really interesting that the problem get's worse, and for pretty much everybody too. And it's worse for some more than others. It has to be some sort of obscure system setting issue that gets bogged down over time. It doesn't seem logical that a hardware problem like this would only get worse instead of just being there from the beginning and staying just as bad. :blink:

After almost 3 hour service seems to be back. A little slow but it is 3g.

I am in Portlandia with 1 week old bionic watching red zone fine then all of a sudden no data connection...tried everthing...must be network...wifi still working

^^Sadly it's a known issue with the phone. An update should be coming up within the next 3-4 weeks I'm guessing.

Been having this problem since about the start of this thread. Upstate NY (Albany) here. Have 3G back now, but no 4G yet.

looks like engineers worked the network problem out. blazing along on 4g now.
4hoours without data was painful.
dont understand how it just affected 4g phones not getting on 3g either though
whole systemwide failure not a good sign. lol
