Data issues getting worse?!?

My 3 and 4G was out for most of the day. Finally came back on 30 mins ago and seems to be strong. 4G has been on full bars since my data came back and im traveling in a car. Hope they fixed it...

I had this problem one day last week. I had service at 7pm when I met with a client and when I got done an hour later, no data connection. It was stuck at showing 2 bars but they were useless. Very inconvenient since I was planning on using the phone navigation to get home.

Anyway, I took the battery out and that fixed it. I haven't had a problem since. I'm sure you all have tried that but I have learned never to act on my assumptions.

Problem with the network guys not your phone nationwide outage I talked to Verizon I don't have the data lose issue and mine went out but just came back on hope that helps

Mines been doing it too. Down for hours. Verizon said 80% of users with 4g phones were being effected last night. My friends with 3g phones were not having any problems and i live in a non 4g area. All of the fixes that were suggested did not work last night. Hope they fix this soon.

Same here - I lost 4G for a while last evening and thought it was me messing with my phone. I'm on WiFi at my house and wouldn't have noticed otherwise but I shut off WiFi and couldn't get 4G. I rebooted the phone twice and got it back. I'm in SE Michigan.

From Sandusky, Ohio, lost 3g and 4g until sometime between 3:30 and 5:30 am. I was at work so I had my phone in airplane mode when not on break. I tried 4g and it's sporadic so just went to 3g only for now. I'm at home now so I'm using wifi.

update to phone will never help out with verizon network outage.

I had this issue this morning and have not had it before now except (maybe once) very rarely I'm hoping that the patch beginning of november will fix this.

Anecdotally, it seems that any program that uses the internet for voice transcribing / voice commands can cause issues. I installed a text reading app that uses voice actions and that is when I started having (major) issues with my connection.

Just this morning I've had to do airplane mode and reboot and it is still not fixed to where it was just a couple days ago before I install that txt announce/auto-read app. Until I installed that app I have never had any issues with conectivity to this degree.

I do not wish to name the app because the author says it is new and needs testing, and I hope to report to him about my problems this morning, but if you have an app running with a name from Ironman, might want to see if that is causing issues...the addition of that app is the lone thing I have done and my connection problems have never been worse.

I got my connection back partly but it is still not 100%.
