Decisions Decisions.....what should I doooo???? VZW offered any other phone!!

I do root, am rooted, and loving every minute of it. I see all of the devs getting the nexus. Probably should follow that based on that alone!!!I wanna have as many options as my og droid.

If you're into rooting I'd def go with the nexus.

I have to admit it sort of bothers me when people base a phone choice off of the interface. Today, with alternate launchers like GoLauncher and ADW, you can have any interface you want with no impact to performance. Also, I was under the impression HTC phones were unlocked as well? I might be going crazy though.

For me, the non-removable storage of the Nexus is the deal breaker for me. I switch out SD cards, I like having that removable storage available just in case; also makes transferring music from phones much, much easier. I admit the extended battery on the Rezound doesn't look great, but I'm also not hearing too many terrible things about stock so it might not even be an issue. Personally if it were me, I'd probably go with the Rezound. ICS should hardly be a factor since eventually it'll be released on most phones and the first version is bound to be buggy. HTC doesn't have the greatest track record on OTAs either, but mostly what I'm reading with Rezound issues seem to be more isolated per phone than Bionic/Razr issues which were seemed more common. Only major advantage the Nexus has is the unlocked bootloader which, though it is nice, it's not like every phone will lose dev support because of it. It might be easier to play around with for devs, but knowing them and their godlike brilliance, they'll have the same stuff on all the other phones eventually too. Bloatware should barely effect the phone's performance, and with an alternate launcher/ICS you can hide apps in the app drawer; so unless you specifically look at the list of bloat, you won't even know it's there. I was at the Verizon store last night comparing all of them and after like an hour of talking to this other guy and playing around we decided the Rezound is a pretty solid phone. So if removable storage isn't an issue for you, then the Nexus is pretty sweet. But don't take Sense into consideration when choosing as launchers can easily be replaced...
