Hey all,
My name is Robby! Just joined but I've had the D4 since the day it was released in NA.. Pretty happy about it, and about to make the jump to root it and get ICS, but waiting for a response to my other thread so I can have all the info! this forum seems friendly enough and I actually like it. hope to make some friends, and become somewhat of a resident expert so I can help others out.

My name is Pippa I just got my HTC Rezound after having to have my Droid Charge replaced due to powering on and off by itself, the screen not lighting up or staying lit up even long enough for me to enter my password to check my voicemail or read my text messages. They wanted to send me another phone after replacing it twice already. I paid FULL price for the charge when it came out cause I was not eligibile for my upgrade yet and I wanted the phone and had lots of trouble with it.
Now they have replaced it with the HTC Rezound after giving me the choice of this phone and three others and this was the one that I liked best. I just recieved my phone yesterday and had to go back into the store today cause it gets so hot that I am unable to even touch it and then the screen keeps shutting off and wont come back on. Like if Im on a phone call it will shut off while I am on the phone and I am unable to get the screen to turn back on to end the call the other person just hangs up. I am able to receive text messages but not able to send text messages always says delivery failed.
So at the store they seem to think it is a phone issue not a battery issue and have ordered me another phone to be shipped overnight via fedex. I am so tired of going throught this with Verizon. I have been a customer for over 12 years and wish I still had my phone from when I first started with them. For the price of the phones and then there are three lines on my contract it is not cheap and to keep getting phones that do not work or having to spend everyday on the phone with customer support or in the store. Which the closest store to me is an hour away gets to be tiresome and frustrating.
Seriously thinking about cancelling contract and get one of the verizon phones or straight talk phones that are a flat rate each month...
I really thought I made a good choice and now here I go again.....:angry:
