New guy

Hey, new to the forum, wife and I both have DINC's, love the phone! From what I see this is a great forum to be a part of.

Hello,
My name is vanessa. I have had my droid for about 6 months now. I joined because I am the tech person for my house and my husband and I wanted to add digital copies of movies to our phone and can't. I am looking for any help possible with this. I also wanted to stay up to date on news and such with out phone. Thanks!

Can someone tell my how I post a thread because nothing around here is helpful.

The bottom says I can post a thread but I see absolutely NO button where I can click and ask a question and it's really annoying

Hello there members!!

My name is Lindsay. I recently bought a used moto droid (first droid) a few days ago. I love it, it has it's ups and downs but I adore all my smartphones XD

I just rooted my phone last night and have been looking online at overclocking and other ways of getting the most from my droid, i'm like a sponge lol

I need all the help I can get! Thanks for welcoming me :D ~~Lindsay

Hello everyone, I'm new to the Droid OS, and have had my Droid X for about a week now. What an awesome phone, and I look forward to hanging out in this forum to learn, and share everything about this new Droid X. I'm not rooted, and now am using the USB easytehter for this connection.

I am only a 3 month old Droid user. I came from the RIM world of Blackberry's. I am hoping to learn how to keep the Droid longer than the my other phones, although it doesn't seem to be the case. I love all that it does, only wish I didn't have so may problems... (on my 2nd phone and battery in the 3 months I have had it).. went thru 3 blackberries and 2 batteries in 2 years before.

Hello Hello

New droid user. Verizon told me I was eligible for an upgrade, so I went for it. I was using a Palm Centro, and switched to a Droid X. I absolutely love it, and think I have about mastered it (with the exception of the Calendar which is a giant headache)...
Hopefully I will get some use out of this forum.

Hello all i am new to the droid world i have my 2ed. droid and its the x and i love it i had black berrys for years and i must say this phone is the cats ass to phones for me i love it

Brand new Droid user. My Blackberry Tour broke and so I bought a Samsung Fascinate last week. Been figuring it out slowly - but would love to learn from other droid users. Like ... how do I transfer my video to my iMac so I can edit in iMovie. Any other Mac & Fascinate users out there?

New guy

A former 8330 Curve user just made the switch and I feel like a 2 year old learning to swim in the ocean with an undertow advisory. My Droid X is pretty sweet, but like my brain I might be using just 15% of its capability.

I am an independent financial advisor and am typically never this early to technology, hate spending the money. While I know the X has been out a while this may as well be the first day of sales for me. It's taking some serious getting used to, I miss the calendar and contacts sync right now, and am getting some memory card error messages, but so far it has been a fun switch.

Anyone out there using Redtail and if so do you have any tips? Looking forward to reading more on the forum. Of course, even the forum has WAY more info than I am able to process right now. Reading all that root stuff last night had me even more anxious about my X.

Thanks and I'll be lurking.

Just got my Droid X today, switching from an iPhone 3GS. It was a tough choice between the iPhone 4 & the Droid X, but Verizon's service finally made me give in to the DX. I envied how my colleagues with Verizon were able to talk through going up & down the elevators while I always had to hang up or pause what I was doing.

I love the aesthetics of most Apple products, but hate all the restrictions. A phone's "looks" are really important to me, and the iPhone always looks so sleek and classy, so it was not an easy choice. But having to re-jailbreak my phone after every software upgrade was getting tiring, and still I can't make it do everything I want. I hope I made the right choice. :) Now I'm just trying to find all the apps I need to replace what I was using on my iPhone. This forum has been a great resource. Thanks!
