I'm new to the Droid. Although I'm pretty happy with it I have my complaints, one of which is the fact that in order to remove an application you have to go into it from the Market Place to uninstall. If there's another way to do it, let me know.
Hey all... my name is Trevor. I received my new Droid X sometime last week, and look forward to finding its true potential in the forums. Hopefully as I become acquainted with my new phone, I can help out some other people. I'm a first gen smart phone user and loving it.
I have taken the plunge! From first mobile five years ago, now I have a Droid 2, and already able to meet my appts. on time b/c of the calendar. But I know there is much more.
Already having trouble playing back movies (youtube, other news sites), and looking for where to talk about this
Hi,
I bought a Motorola Droid X. And I am glad that I can use this forum to see
how to use it and how to make it work for me. I was hoping I can use a lot of information from here and not have to buy a book droids for dummies. dancedroid
Thanks for any info you post. I'm just trying to see what are the best apps out there.

just purchased my Samsung Fascinate 2 days ago from Verizon,
I've had a droid 1 for the longest time, and now that I have a new android, I figured it's time I test its limits.
I just successfully rooted my Fascinate last night, now I am out on a venture to find useful apps and other things that rooting has opened the doors to!
I have had my first Droid for 48 hours: a Droid Pro. If it were not for this forum and a few YouTube videos I probably would have taken it back. So thanks for keeping me from making a huge mistake. I look forward to participating in this community.
We live on a small island just south of Charleston SC. I am a Realtor with Edisto Realty. I love anything outdoors: on the water or on the woods. We have three kids, five springer spaniels, and 6 cats.
I think I have transitioned pretty quickly from BBs so if anyone has any questions pertaining to the initial shock of the switch let me know.
This is day 2 with my new Droid Pro and although I'm admittedly lost, I'm having fun with it. I'd gone to the VZW store to get a battery for my Blackberry Curve, only to learn that the phone needed a total overhaul. The sales clerk brought out a bunch of new Blackberrys, none of which I liked. Then he showed me the Droid and it was love at first sight! Hopefully I'll be able to learn from you, as I am technologically challenged:r_c:
