Hi everyone my name is Steve. I am new to the android world and thought this would be a place I could explore to learn and ask questions. I'm a bit of a rule breaker by nature and want to be able to root my phone and take advantage of the full potential that I see many others doing, but I also don't want to create a paper weight either. So I am here to learn and explore and share anything I may have picked up in the process.

My name is Shelley and the Incredible 2 is my first smartphone. Finding it difficult to find my favorite apps on the phone (quickly) and alarms, but getting used to it. Hoping to learn how to make the phone more customizable and I hope Verizon comes up with a way to uninstall pre-loaded apps. I don't want to play football.

My name is Tejas. Im 22yr old. Im from India. I just completed my graduation in commerce. Now planning for higher studies. I gotw my motorola defy four days before. This is my first android phone. Im complete noob in this things.
Hope you all guys help to solve my defy related problems

Where I can create thread about problems of my defy?

Hmmm... I didn't see a forum devoted entirely devoted to the defy. However, you can post your questions/problems in the droid general discussion part of the forum :)

Just upgrade life

Hello all Cory Here 24 year veteran of the firefighting service and retired Guard member. My first smart phone (droid incredible 2)
I found this place looking for app's for my new phone and to try and figure out how to use it.(it comes with a awsome book of how to to run your phone... not)
So anyway the only way to remove apps that I have tried and don't want on my droid anymore is to ???

anyway great site, way more reading to do

As far as I know the only way to remove all that bloatware and truly exploit the full functionality of the Android OS is have have super user permission i.e. being rooted. I am to chicken s**t to do it myself but many many people here are. I'm sure that they will be more helpful than me but I did want to say 'Welcome and glad to have you here' enjoy your stay.dancedroid
