Names Ashley. Just got the Droid Charge, coming from the Droid 2. Liking it so far, only thing I don't like is not being able to set a contact to go straight to voicemail and I miss my blinking notification light. Any suggestions? :)

When you go into that specific contact's settings you can click a box that says "send straight to voicemail" I always wondered what people actually use this feature for... ex boyfriend?

Here are the steps Verizon told me:
1. Open your contact list
2. Scroll until you find the contact that you'd like to send straight to voicemail, and tap to open the contact
3. Near the bottom of the contact page, find and tap on the Send to voicemail option
** A pop-up will appear asking if you're sure you want to enable this feature.
4. Tap OK and you're done.

I did all of that, but there is no option at the end of a contacts page lol

Fully Flashed Driod 2 Global on Cricket

Thats what I am running everything works..an I have apps out my ears..any questions more than happy to answer..dancedroid

Recently rooted my Of Droid. First Rom was GPA15 w/ low voltage 1ghz kernel. Loved the cut and paste but battery life was horrible. I've since flashes Bugless Beast V0.6.2.1, with the Supercharged script. Wow, what a difference. I'm getting very good batter life and no later or redraws which was the hallmark of stock Droid.

I enjoy reading what you all have to say. This is the very good, positive community.

Hey! New to the Droid Forum. I previously owned a Moto Droid for a year and a half and just upgraded to the Incredible 2. Still getting used to the HTC features and interface, but so far, I like the change.

Hello, I am Sanjay Gupta from Kanpur, India.

At the moment I have two Android phones, one is a CDMA Epic 4G set up for Reliance, and the seond (GSM) is a Samsung Galaxy 551. I am likely to get a third phone (GSM again) which will most probably be a Motorola Defy. Both phones are rooted and on Froyo (2.2.1 and 2.2). The Epic 4G may be replaced with a Verizon Incredible 2, since there are some problems (sensitivity) with it .

I am an academic, a Physicist by training. I am quite handy with PCs (Windows + Linux) but am still coming to terms with Smartphones.

Hi all, brand new droid user from SC. Had a blackberry before. Emails come slower and I received a voicemail today when the phone never rang. Does anyone know the default password?

Can someone please assist this newbie. I want to be up on all the things my Global Droid 2 does, but I'm having some difficulty. I wanted to upload my music to my Droid from my iTunes, but again, having some difficulty. I keep getting this error "unable to install your Motorola ADB Interface". Does anyone know what the heck that means?

newbie

I just purchased my first android phone, the Droid Charge, after having a bb for a couple of years. I love my charge. I'm not super techy, so I thought this would be a great place to become more familiar with what my phone can do.

Newbie, too

I am the most technically challenged person I know so I thought this would be a great place to learn and havequestions answered.
