I'm maybe noticing a slight improvement. Hard to tell. Its been like 3 hours and 20 mins and I've been using it somewhat heavily I guess. Is that normal?? People who are getting 20+ hours HAVE GOT to be somewhat of light users. Maybe I need to stay underclocked and give some more time. Just early impressions.

okay today the battery lasted from 8am to 3am still reading 20%. Few quick calls, and some texting, light browsing for a few pages, email, pandora for 1.5-2hrs. at the rate of battery discharge i think i would have been able to get 24hours or close to it.. no complaints here. great battery, considering buying another.
I'm wondering. Is it better to charge the battery fully, let it rest, and then take it off the charger?? Or should u charge, let it rest, then after being on full charge for a bit, turn it off for awhile, and then power it back on?? I really think about this stuff a lot..
As mentioned, the battery itself doesn't care how you charge it; Lithium Ion isn't sensitive to that the way NiCad batteries are. The only thing to be aware of in that regard is your phone itself has a "memory" to guage what the battery's capacity is, so letting it go down to 20% or so occasionally and then recharging it on the phone helps it maintain accuracy. I doubt you have to do it that often, mostly when the battery is new. I don't know where the link is that I was reading about it; if I find it I'll post it.
I just got the Droid 2 extended life battery and it is working great. I currently have the Seido Innocase with no battery cover. I would like to know if anyone has tried this with an Otter Box case and if you can fit the battery cover on with the case?
I have tried looking through 20 pages and have not found if you have a Droid 1 and you get this battery if you also need to purchase a new cover to fit it. Or does it come with a new cover.

This battery comes with a cover. The cover fits the back, but is the same color as the Droid 2 body, which is a different color than the Droid 1. I believe there are some pictures somewhere in the thread where you can see the new door installed and the color variation. The color difference doesn't bother me and I actually think it looks good. (I have not yet bought one).
