Try it again. With too much traffic it goes down for a few.

Fubar

I copied the zip and crc file into my cache, ran the Droid Utility, used option 9, but when I rebooted into recovery, there were no files in my cache directory. When the phone tries to boot now, it just boots to a blank screen.

Please help, I'm afraid my phone is fubar'd!

It doesn't overwrite the cache so I don't know what happened there. I flashed from my cache a couple of times testing the tool. When you select update from cache the file isn't there?

!If you don't have an sd card, then the quickest fix is to just fastboot the entire ics with rsd lite. Look in the roms section. I would power it off until you get ready to flash again.

Yes, the files were not in the cache folder.

I do not have an SD card. I cannot find a full 217 ROM, only the update. I also don't see instructions for using rsd lite with 217. Please advise, I am very nervous here.

EDIT: I found the ICS fastboot. Gonna give it a shot.

EDIT: *whew* I think I'm OK. Time for a drink.

Step 6 [/B]Reboot into recovery by holding both volume buttons and pressing the power, then release. Select recovery, wait a few second and the android with the red exclamation will appear. Press both volume buttons and then flash the ICS update file.

HOW DO I FLASH THE ICS .217 FILE IF IM IN RECOVERY? DO YOU MEAN """APPLY UPDATE"""??????

Apply the update in stock recovery, by selecting update from external.

Lol omg yall had me confused n scared n stuff. Bt anywho, i got .217 running n it looks more stable except for facebook bt maybe they need to update that. Also, because we jumped to .217, we are on the official upgrade path again? Hopefully we MIGHT get a Jelly Bean update.

Utility won't work.

Trying to unroot. Tried this tool. Followed directions. Cant get it to do anything. It says "The system cannot find the path specified" Please help?

Are you sure that debugging is on, you are in mtp mode and have install from unknown sources checked?
Oh and the screen unlocked?

Firstly, awesome job! I enjoy it a lot, thank you. Just a couple issues:
1. FoxFi seems a bit finicky is there another wifi hotspots you reccomend?
2. Speech to text isn't working on my phone.

Thank you again, and thank you to anyone who can help!

Edit- 2. Speed to text- turns out it was just an issue with data limitation/background data. I was able to up the limitation and get around it. But periodically I still get the background data announcement. But speech to text works amazingly on ICS.

Which options do I choose, when going from the .206 leak to .217? I assume 11 or 12, but it's worded weird. Do those options Upgrade the ROM as well as restore?
