Only those on the soak test list have received it at this point. Those of us who are not on the list wont get it until next week at the earliest if it there are no major bugs found over the weekend.
At this point only those in the soak test are getting the update. There's a survey on Sunday and after that we should be getting it.
Three things about OTA (Over The Air) updates...
1) They are RANDOM. So random that if you bought 2 Bionics the same day, one could get an update days after the other. Back in 2009 when the OG Droid was getting its first update, someone had set up a Google map where you could "stick a pin" showing where and when you got the update. No rhyme or reason at all.
2) They can load in the background. If they do, when you bring your phone up from sleep (i.e., bringing the screen up) it'll say you have an update available. This is assuming you leave your phone on (maybe connected to a charger) all the time.
3) When you check for updates, you are sending a signal to the carrier. The carrier checks your version and IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number and if you're scheduled to receive it, you'll see a message saying so. This means that if you're scheduled to get an update on June 18th at 3:47am, your phone will say that it's "Up to date" even though others have been getting the update since June 12th.
well I've been running the 905 soak for about a full day now. Wow, I am really considering going back to 902. This is terrible, my battery life has taken a hit (although I know it is partially due to HD widgets running gps nonstop), and I have lost my 3G data connection at least 5 times today and a few times yesterday. I had not dropped data in over a month before this update.
I'll give it through the weekend, but if this data crap doesn't stop I'm going back to 902.

2 things I always do following an update: 1) power down and do battery and sim removal. Power back up without the sim to home screen. Power back down and replace battery and sim then power up. 2)wipe the cache partition in stock recovery. Both of these have helped me in the past with connectivity and battery life.

Just installed the leak this evening, not the ota, and very surprised the install worked cause I had all my bloatware removed... in the few hours I've had with it, it seems just about the same as 902 in terms of connection stability, I suppose, which is to say that it's good!

If these were needed or actually do something beneficial you would think Verizon / moto would include these steps in the install instructions. Are these just random thingz you tried and perceived to work? Or is there some documentation as to why removing the sim or killing cache would help
went back to 902 2 days after the cheesecake leak..905 was perfect and no problem w/ the connections(wifi / 4G) but am concerned 'bout the battery that consumed to much!!Will wait for the ICS..
