Droid Bionic heading towards Verizon

Rebel; If it's a locked bootloader, would it make it a "Droid XX (Droid X 2/ Bionic)? And if so..would you still get it?

That's a good question, with a dual core processor and 1gb of ram, do I really need to root it? I do like being able to do what I want with my D1 but with specs like this phone has I can live without not being able to reach any file on the phone. I am not sure we will see another unlocked bootloader from Moto so at this point I will make a well thought out purchase based on specs.

Yeah see I'm not really "in the know" about Dual Core at all. It sounds cool. And I'm sure I'd rather have a dual core rather than a (?) single core if I had my choice. But exactly what will the dual core do for my device that's needed beside making gaming faster? This is a vital question for me because it seems like the "Dual Vs. Single Core" debate is pretty much the bread and butter for choices of next devices.

How do we benefit from a DUAL Core that will change our phone experience more than a single core?

Totally different experience from gaming to web browsing. Much quicker in every aspect. Dont waste your money in anything single core at this point seeing that this architecture is becoming available to us.

You realize that the additional core and 1024 megabytes of ram equal spare battery or carrying your charger all the time to make it through the day. Its like an alienware laptop...fast as hell and always dead.

So basically Dual Core is another way of saying "damn it's fast, darn it's dead", right?

So hold off, get a dual core, front facing camera Android device. That's all I needed to know. I was skeptic about my next device..and honestly... Was going to dive head first into the Thunderbolt.. But if it makes my device experience ENTIRELY different, without sacrificing my battery.. I'm all for it.

I am almost positive I read these mobile dual core processors have been designed with battery life in mind and that we will actually see an improvement from what we see in our android phones now. Now that remains to be seen but I am almost certain I read that and I wasn't just dreaming.

You realize that tegra 2 is optimized to use less power than the current generation of phones while adding features and improving performance on all fronts.

How many times will it have to be said before people get this?
Dual core improves battery life.
Jeez, guys, it's five words, can it REALLY be that hard to remember?

Now my question is when these phones hit whats the Data price range going to be? Also im sure there will be a cap to the data also!! Which stinks for me since i use about 4gigs a month on avg!! Now the question is will there be unlimited data for 4G and how much will it be?

Locked bootloader or not on e Fab, Jrummy and the others get a hold of it, it wont matter if its tied to a nuke. Aslong as we can flash a rom over it, we wont even need to create a custom kernal.

Outside of that, we were concerned about the other perks of it guy. Cool your jets.

Moto have 100s of people asking call reps who know about as much as we do about everything from when it come out, to how much, to "can I get the sbf for it".

^^^making a joke about a person who did that.
