Just for a second but like I said before; I updated my post didnt see the point to leave that there, we all caught it. So moving on, besides I was looking for the time to get some payback for the iphone to verizon I told you so. Caught you slipping, had to take it lol.

Just checked updates on my daughters Eris I bought her three days ago, no updates available.

this was taken from HTC's twitter i think they would announce it on there if anyone was gettting it right so HTC dose say the the Elcair update not knowing what the means is comeing to cirtian arieas is the elcarie the 2.1

verizon tech rep told me the ERIS update is rolling out but we all know how they lie i just called a few minutes ago i would ask others to hit 611 and ask the rep if eris got update today lets see how many different awners we get lol

this is a funny story you guys make enjoy, I have a buddy at work that is always bragging bout his iphone and how sweet it is. A few days after I got my droid, I asked him, hey what kinda speed does that thing get ? He had no clue, so he downloaded the speedtest.net app, I already knew what was gonna happen. heh...he ran it and of course was getting little over 5K a sec, dialup speed, no 3g here. mwhahaha He says, thats pretty good what do you get? run the test and I hit 149K down and 91K up, haha he was furious..WTF?!?!?!?!?! I got up and walked off back into work.

I looked on the official website on HTC. There's nothing mentioned of the new update 2.1. I only see the old update that you can manually update for your phone. If there is a update it's probably another minor update again. ! Besides, I doubt Verizon's going to let the Eris steal the limelight away from the Motorola Droid ! If this is true I would be shock like all tech geeks out there !

calm down buddy; one if htc turns around an update for vzw before motorola. Vzw will run it; 2 we proved this to not be legit.

I am looking forward to other Android devices getting the 2.1 update. If any of these other phones get a full 2.1 update (live wallpapers and 3d app drawer), it will be a good sign for us Droid owners.
