Droid Incredible closed out

I'd like to see you OC your snapdragon to 2ghz without it melting, the droid's OMAP is a 600mhz stock chip, yet plenty of us run it at 1200 or higher without any problems.

I've broken 1700 a handful of times using Chevy's 1.25ghz ULV kernel and P3's 1.25ghz kernel. It seems to be random though. I can kill every single app and have setcpu on performance and still get a 1400 and then turn around and get a 1750.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but my vzw sources has informed me that the incredible is not being discontinued. It was just a sku change that had to do with the 2gb SD card. Good news for you incredible owners.

That's a damn shame, VZW should get rid of HTC period. that is until they make a quality phone out of quality parts.

Well i dont get into over clocking and all the crap...but my inc runs smoother and faster then the pos droid i had......bottom line if you if you dont spend your life on your phone and these forums, like some of you... inc is hands down a BETTER phone...

Well i dont get into over clocking and all the crap...but my inc runs smoother and faster then the pos droid i had......bottom line if you if you dont spend your life on your phone and these forums, like some of you... inc is hands down a BETTER phone...

If you like plastic crap, then yes it may be, if you like not having a GPU then yes it may be, but HTC and its crap sense UI is not a better phone.

I'm still betting our POS phone, which has had froyo since...a day or 2 after it was leaked, will get an official OTA before your amazing phone...and I do overclock, and my processor can handle a pretty massive overclock, good luck with your phone.

Come on guys... you all know the droid is no where near the phone the incredible is... even overclocked and running froyo....

and this is a nasty rumor to curtail the pending litigation with apple..... I find it funny that everyone believes this is actually true... lol

Everyone who thinks the Droid is better than the Inc are probably some cheap a** who are stuck with this phone for 2 yrs only to save 60$ . You all know the Droid is no 5 star phone , and there already are a couple of better phones out there .

My inc runs flash just fine..... and Cyanogen Froyo Style is in the works for the incredible. so take that and shove it up your pipe hole.... lol
