Droid Incredible closed out

so what your saying is the phones that are coming in the future are faster than the ones that are already on the market! give this man a medal!

I forgot the EVO too since its running the same cpu....

Its not my fault HTC decided saving money was better than putting a better cpu in their current phones.

The Moto Droid's OMAP is the better processor and its evident when you see the Nexus and Incredible owners messing up the market ratings for most of the hot games! Its irritating to Moto Droid owners! News flash.......Its not the games! Its that over-hyped snapdragon, you guys love so much! Truth hurts so go ahead and flame away.

See, I didnt try to go there with Froyo.....but since u did....

Dude that posted about an overclocked Droid vs. a stock Inc., N1....I never try to use that argument cuz there are too many variables modded vs. stock.

Thats why I said current OMAP vs current Snapdragon, especially since they both running at 1Ghz. Isnt that a fairer comparison?

Plus u showing a modded Droid running 2.1 vs a modded N1 running 2.2......:(

I try to at least be fair in these ____vs. ____ debates....

HTC Incredible Highlighted on the FAN Channel 660AM!

I'm an avid sports fan, and as such I listen to the FAN Channel 660 in the NY area. This morning I counted no less than 5 commercials for the HTC Incredible Droid. It's not difficult to pick up on the beginning of the commercial as they start with the DROID sound..

Perhaps getting phased out, not sure but they are really pushing it in our area!

Droid Does.. :) mikey

Saw another one last night where a bunch of colors were flying around or something. I was half asleep when I saw it so I can't exactly remember what channel it was on. Could have been the History channel.

Its cant be getting phased out. Unless there was some major, drastic situation happening with the Inc. or HTC.

The Inc. has the regular size slate phone running Android market locked down on Verizon. There is no other choice, unless its a WnMo or Blackberry phone.

Hahahah! Now why you hurt their feelings like that? Mod the Nexus all you want and it wont come close to that score. Snapdragon....ha LMAO!

If I read that thread and I did and well here...
I haven't even come close to that since. (not that I haven't been trying lol) I'm back at a very fast 1700 ish. Anyone have any ideas how it got that high cause I don't.

I read that entire thread. I havent been able to get my Droid to get past 1670 yet. When I try it stays in the low 1600's now. I'm jealous...lol Yea, that person hasnt been able to reproduce it again. But did u read this:

Actually I would theorize it is the "Perfect Scenario".

IE:
No tasks running in background made a request for CPU time.
There were no deferred memory writes pending.
The CPU was at max freq the entire time.

It might be possible to reproduce with a very stripped down ROM. I have a 2.1 setup that way. If I get bored this weekend, I will setup a 2.2 ROM the same way and run tests.

Its possible that an N1 might get that high with the right scenario too. But looking what what u quoted: "back to a very fast 1700 ish", I think thats pretty good for a cpu that 550Mhz overclocked to 1Ghz vs. the N1 at 1Ghz overclocked to 1228Mhz...
