[TOOLS] DROID RAZR Utility 1.6 [Now Contains 6.12.181 Fastboot files]

You need to put it in AP Fastboot mode, not just turn on debugging.

Power off the phone and then hold both volume buttons + the power button until you see the screen flash. Let go of the buttons and use the volume down button to scroll to AP Fastboot and then the volume up button to select it. Then use the utility to fastboot to .173

Well I want to fastboot back to .181... That's the one I'll be going back to correct? And thanks for your input.

Yes, and it really is simple. Took me just a couple minutes and my Razr was fresh out of the box. :)
how ironic cuz i just got my replacement fresh out the box, do u perhaps have instructions for an idiot to use this lolz, i just got the 1st link to download im working on the other 2, but idk what to do from there

The utility gives you instructions when you run it. All you need to do is to turn on "Unknown Sources" and USB debugging, connect your phone to your pc, and set the phone to charge only in the connections notification, and follow the instructions from the utility. It does the rest for you. :)

you only need one.....
so pick which ever one you like

extract it to a folder on your desktop,
make sure phone is has debugging and unknown sources enabled. and is in charge only mode.

i noticed on the utility there was an option for over clocking on gb, well after ive rooted do i (i want to overclock) select the overclock option then mess around with it in Set CPU? or does it just over clock it once ive selected it, if so whats the speed measure out to?
