Droid X

Hello all, I am currently a blackberry user. I want to switch over to the droid X. The thing is my upgrade with Verizon is up yet, I have till 11/11. I dont want to pay $500 for a phone either. What is the best way to get a Droid X that will not hurt the wallet?
