Yes Hello , well I jumped right in and for the second time I am proud to say I Am Now Liberated & Epically Bold ! Word Up & Thanx. If any1 is Corky like me ill just put what I did! 1 . Followed Stetson's instructions. I'm not so sure about backing and booting so i now everytime go to Toolbox, clear cashe ,app store ,set boot and boot animations. I then go into watchdog and turn off as many programs as poss.Back to ToolboxI then backup all data w. zip alligning already set in Lib settings. I dont know if ttback up is better but i back up there 2. I then boot strap top choice till it says ok then boot into clockwork.2. Now I do a Nan backup ,followed by wipe. 3. Followed this link to download and put direc on phone, (Still confused bout win rar)applyed zip. it is located on the second list so dont freak if u dont c it right away like i did.it loaded itself i restarted./////// With 1 Badass Theme!
So again thx, i will set up a paypal acct this week and def donate, u guys are doing great **** and i really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!

okay ive had liberty rom 1.5 for awhile now and hesitant on upgrading because i dont know if when i update will i lose all my apps and such? i know that i can make a backup but if i restore that backup when i have updated my liberty rom to 2.0.1 will this cause any problems?

Yes Hello , from all the info ive crammed in my head this month the best i can tell , is that after u backup in clockwork, and then wipe ,u will start fresh and can prob sd zip lib 2.0.1 right then, if u do the donate version i t will basically hold ur hand thru it. only prob i initally had was no toolbox and force close on lib settings but updated zip in clockwork and dwnloaded toolbox agn from mkt. I then backed up agn bootstrapped and backed up lib 2.0 in clockwork. i think that is what they call a nandroid backup.
Hope helps.

If im on the lgb nightly can I go back to stock rooted gb since they're both gb roms?

Can someone post a link to a how to rom a d2g to liberty...don't wanna have to sbf mine again...is it better to be on 1.5 or 2.0?
Im sure this has been explained many times before, but follow the instructions for liberty 2.0, then flash the romer v7 zip and your done. Then you need to read the thread in the Get R Done forums called something like Romer Works on Liberty 2.0 for a fix to prevent breaking 3G when rebooting on the 2.0 rom.

I have a question about flasing Liberty. If I have another ROM flashed at the moment, in my case I have Apex running on my D2, would I need to SBF back to stock 2.2 before flashing Liberty, or can I flash over Apex. OR can I restore a nandroid of stock blur that I made prior to flasing Apex, then flash Liberty over that?

So there's a ton of themes that come with Liberty in the toolbox, but I can't find previews of any of them. It's kind of frustrating that my phone is suddenly all pink :O

Where can I preview the themes?

I have questions regarding using the Donate App upgrade option:

  • I have already downloaded the 2.0.1 ROM to my desktop, do I just put the file in the root of my SD card and then point the app to where the ROM is saved?
  • If I buy the app will I have to backup and fully restore everything apps/contacts/app data etc...?
  • Is the app update feature fully automatic?

If you look a few posts down under the stickies in this forum theres a thread with previews of most of them. I agree though, some sort of preview in the tool box would be nice.

1. You can put the ROM.zip anywhere on the SD card. Just choose the appropriate option in clockwork recovery What app? The toolbox? No you just install it as far as I know.
2. Again what app? The toolbox? No. Just install.
3. The toolbox? I dont think it auto updates except through the market.

On the first page of the thread there was an option to purchase the Liberty Tool Box Donate app. This is the 2nd way to update the ROM itself. I am coming from version 1.5.
