Speaking of themes, would it be too much of a hassle to integrate the T-mobile Theme Chooser into this ROM? Or would it require too much coding? Or has this been discussed before?

Can you explain in a tad more detail plz, I don't quite understand all this stuff yet.

The reason I plan to upgrade to the DROID 4 is because I have to get another smart phone, and what I get must have the newest ICS software and must have an awesome keyboard.

All moto phones except the DROID 1 have a locked bootloader making it impossible to flash new kernels and not flash roms with out safestrap.

Well anyways I just did some research and the DROID 4 does not have ICS anyways, not sure why I thought it did.

Maybe I need to go with samsung galaxy nexus instead when I do upgrade, will miss my keyboard

The Droid 4 is due for an OS upgrade TO ICS. It doesn't currently have it officially, but it will come. If you don't plan on flashing ROMs, go with the D4. If you're going to go flash crazy, go with a GNex. I would say GNex anyway.
