Email question

I have a question about my email. I'm using a pop3 account. I'll check my email, then maybe won't read it for a while, sometimes a day. When I go to read it, I click on an email, and it says "Loading", with the round processing icon, although it isn't going around like it is processing. Sometimes it takes a minute or more just to load the email.

If I hit Reply, I can read the text of the email right away.

Please help.

This is a good question..Sometimes on emails, mine does this as well...Then it loads fine. Anyone have an answer for macminn18?
