Even More Froyo

Backed up current froyo.

Installed this one, wiped and factory reset, stayed on droid eye for a while, but decided to leave it for 5 min, came back and it was waiting on me to setup...

In the OS now, so ar so good, synching now ...

In app drawer I can see my apps, so I'd say I'm good, will test those.

Ok, some not there, but will give it time ....

ADW popped in, and the restores in it gave me everything where I wanted, even if I have to reload the widgets, that would be expected.

You know you might wanna check out the default home launcher. The last froyo release it was laggy so I went launcherpro. But now it is smooth. I think when they removed the cube launcher it just made it better. Unless you really need the 7 screens, the 5 screen default home launcher is surprisingly smooth. I have my launcher pro screen set up to switch later. I thought about using the htic inc scenes idea. Where I use Launcherpro home screen as my "work scene", and have everything set up on their for work config, and keep the default home screen for every day use.
At work I their are particular apps and bookmark configs that I prefer, where as when I am at home I prefer other stuff.

is ANYONES MARKET letting them INSTALL apps? I'm having BIG issues here. It downloads, then hangs where it says "installing". What is the issue?

A couple of people have already asked this, but I have yet to see a definitive answer so I'll put my voice in here, too.

If I'm already running a stable version of FroYo from an older leak, what are the advantages of installing this one? I have zero problems with my current build, but I certainly wouldn't want to be either missing out on some functionality or setting myself up for future issues.

i suggest reboot
wipe data and cache twice
install update.zip again
wipe data and cache

see if that fixes it.
