I got it all installed but it won't run. The doesn't appear in my apps list. I uploaded it with Root Explorer to the system/app , system/lib , system/bin dirs

Did that. Now when I run the app it shows up the app then returns to the home screen and I can't launch it. Just the red FM logo appears at the top. It won't run.

Uninstall it, remove all the parts. Put them all back in. Set the permissions to 655 for libs and 755 for bin. Mount system back to read only. Then install. It should work. And I hope the permissions make sense. Bad memory.

Should only hang if permissions aren't right or server not installed right.

GOT IT WORKING. Now if the speaker output can be traced it will be perfect. I hate that the RDS data isn't dynamic or doesn't display the main header info. I.E the Artist/Song/Station/Slogan. Right now I only get the call letters.

I'm lucky my local station will come in and a second station that isn't online for streaming. I'm hoping it will be possible to output to the speaker later on if this still being worked on.

Hi all.

I just wrote a quick script to install the fmradio app on your phone...

DOFMRadio. Hahahahaha. Couldn't get it to work for Fission, but maybe someone can try this out with their stock Droid 2.

I'm stuck at "Checking for devices". USB debugging is on and set to "charge only". Is it possible that my Windows 7 64 bit computer is the issue?

Try and see if it will go through if you have the phone any of the three others, it may vary from phone to phone.

Directly from a D2
