i am still getting status 7, earor in sdcard zip. im back to stock with fabs theme killer. one question i have is themework suppost to be on root of sdcard or on downloads, i think i moved it.

I just updated my droid x its awesome swype and keyboard is amazing. The phone does seem to be alittle sluggish other then that its amazing

so far my issues are the gps not working correctly and my "battery usage" setting shortcut FCing.

Easy experience with the update...used Root Explorer to move the su file to xbin no problem. Renamed the bloatwares back to apks. Update from sd card no problem.

However after Froyo was setup and running two things bothered me. Even with the charger connected the phone would randomly stop charging like the cable had been disconnected, and after and incoming email/text the screen would stay lit. Sometimes I would push the power button to turn it back off, but it would come right back on.

So I did a full reset/wipe device. After it booted back up I had full bars and "Verizon Wireless" listed on the screen, but no "3G" or data service. Did another full reset/wipe and got to the screen to activate the phone. Called *228 (or whatever it is) and activated just fine. Booted into recovery mode and cleared the cache, restarted, and now everything is fine.

When it gets closer to the official release time I'll flash sbf and return everything to stock, but for now I'm enjoying Froyo!

Yea same here do u know to go back to stock? I was tired of waiting on vzw to send a update. Iam still amazed at the flash player and keyboard is alil better other then that I really don't see a diff. Anyone know when the OTA comes out will there be some sort of theme update aswell?

There's a way to flash it, I think that's what its called. But id need a back to stock for dumbies lol

I did do factory reset. But i think its because i changed the notification bar in haku's post. And i have root.
Haku said easy way was to flash sbf. That's alot of work.right.

if you follow the directions at alldroid its real simple.
saves you a lot of trouble and frustrations.

there is nothing more simple than. Go back to stk, (no theme or junk) root is ok. Update ...........it doesnt get any easier than that. AD is just trying to pnoy off of P3's work with the rest of the leak team. Sheesh give them some credit.

I think your misunderstanding me.
I was meaning the flashing back to stock.
the alldroid guide seemed easier to understand for me.
even tho they both said the same thing the one at mydroid was updated throughout the thread and when I was doing mine I had to try and sort through for updates and what not. They did the hard work and nitty gritty. Alldroid polished the guide.
