Well I finally got it to work, all I had to do was reboot my phone and then go through the setup process after I deleted everything then I just rebooted into recovery and it worked, other than no apps2sd error.

for those that think wifi is disabled, its totally working for me.. maybe it meant wifi tethering? i'm not sure, dont need to try that so maybe someone else can respond

It is disabled. If yours works, then you're not installed correctly.

i installed the Froyo6410.zip one that WAS on the original post using the update.zip method... however it appears that has been removed and i'll be trying a nandroid backup in a minute

Wiping cache and data will not un-root you. Once your rooted, your rooted. You should do this very time you install a new ROM. Then just restore apps. and data with your backups. I would also copy your SDCARD to your computer just to be extra safe.

Is anyone running 2.2 STABLED? Seems so slow for me! It's horrible at the moment way way slower then stock. Instead of it being 5x quicker then stock it feels 5x slower hehe. Anyone having it run good and smooth and if so what did you do ?

Based on stability issues people are having and no Wifi, I will be holding off on installing this.

The Market is a tad different. There is now an 'About' tab with everything we usually had but now all the comments are on their own 'Comments' tab

haha flashed another kernal. The phone booted but it said my battery was dead, no signal, no data, and the phone rebooted in about 30 secs.

can everyone stop complaining... remember this is pretty much alpha or beta, probably even just consider it an X release... its not going to be perfect so don't expect it to be perfect, let them work their witchcraft on it so it can become better, eventually it will be better. so stop the complaining.

I'm using the .zip from the OP that is now removed. It's pretty effin' fast (haven't OCed yet) but there seems to be no 3G connection, which makes things like Market updates and phone calls a little tricky. Wifi works sporadically though! perhaps this is part of why that link is no longer on the OP.

it'll be 10x faster if we give it a week or two. let the devs work with it. get a final release situated.
