Well based on other unboxings it should be all the same except on the att version they remove it from the Samsung box and put it in an orange att box without the ear buds that come with it. I guess they want to put them on the shelves and sell them. So I guess they want to make a little extra off the top. I will find out if the earbud rumor is true.

read the same thing yesterday on xda. Pretty crazy that AT&T would do that but I guess they have done that before.

I've been using the US Cellular Note 2 for the past few days, I do love it and if it wasn't for the HTC DNA then I would definitely pick this up when it comes to Verizon. Here's what I noticed about this phone so far.
Most phones have been able to fit in my cup holder, which is perfect since it's the only spot in my center console to easily store a phone and be able to glance down at it. The Note 2 is just slightly too wide to fit.
Surprisingly I've adjusted to holding it in two hands rather well, it feels just as natural as using my TB one handed. Of course you really can't use the Note 2 in one hand easily, as you need to readjust your grip in order to reach the pull down, then to press the back or home button.
I'm not on who cares for the physical home button, I get why some people like it but for me I'm used to the capacitive buttons which are a simply touch to activate, so I find myself attempting the same thing on the Note 2, but then have to press is twice because the first time wasn't hard enough. It also offsets your balance of the phone when trying to use it one handed and you need to go back home.
The S-Pen. Great feature, however I think I only took the S-Pen out once. It has the potential to be handy, I have it configured to open up a pop-up note when removed so if I need to make a quick note I just pull the pen out, no need to open an application. As far as normal day to day tasks, you could use it to swipe between screens, to scroll, etc. but it's much easier to use your finger. The pressure sensitivity seems to work well, but I would hardly call it hundreds of varying levels, it seems to be bold, normal, or light. Also, when you try to write very lightly the pen tends to "skip", even though it's still touching the screen it doesn't always register. Honestly, the S-Pen is a neat feature to have, but for me it's basically pointless (along with many of the features they have)

FYI, US Cellular's 4G LTE reminds me of Verizon early on. When I get a strong signal I can easily pull 12-16Mbps down and 10-14Mbps up, but when I'm in a fair coverage area I tend to only pull down around 2-3Mbps.

I always have my nexus in the cup holder now will have to think of somewhere else. Not a big deal but nice to know. I like the bigger screen I have the nexus, a laptop, and an iPad 1. Out of all I use the nexus mostly, then use the iPad if camping so don't need the laptop. I think I will be able to replace the iPad with the note 2 since I'm not a big user of it. Hell in the past two weeks since I was at the camp site I haven't even turned on the iPad.
The s pen tough one for me I used to use one way back with the Palm but didn't use a lot. This one think I will use more but for quick notes on phone, and captures/editing pictures.
Also thought wrote that is a great feature laying down and it auto detecting what way to have the screen. Didn't think of the dark and not being able to detect. Used face unlock but disabled due to not detecting me at home too dark.
I started looking at the DNA also heard it will be out sooner then the note. But so far still thinking note will be better for me. Bigger going to help with iPad replacement.
I do have a question have you tried to install Google wallet? Wondering if this works. I have it on the nexus and use it often would really miss that.

I've been running this alongside my Thunderbolt w/ extended battery to try and compare, they seem to be on par. I leave LTE enabled on both at work and at home, while at work the signal is fair/poor on both so it eats the battery quickly, I checked facebook, e-mail, some light web browsing, uploaded some photos, and I easily made it through a full day with >50% battery by night.How has the battery been with LTE?
It's interesting how the things that seem so simple such as storing your phone in your cup holder, can really become an inconvenience when you can no longer do that. I also used to be a Windows Mobile fan, and used the stylus since it didn't work with your fingers. I really thought I would use the S-Pen all the time for highlighting over movie clips to see where to skip to, for hovering over galleries, basically everything you see in the reviews sounded awesome until I got it and found that I rarely have a need to actually do that.
I also have a Nexus 7, and when I only had my TB I pretty much left my phone on my desk and exclusively used the Nexus 7 the entire time. With the Note 2 I find that it fills both those areas, I have no need to use my Nexus 7 as the Note 2 is just 1.5" smaller, but has phone capabilities as well (and it actually is a lot faster).
I was able to install Google Wallet, but it says it's not yet supported by my device or carrier.
I do love using it! It's comfortable in my front pocket, even if I leave it in my pocket while driving I sometimes forget it's even there, the curved edges really help. The only real factor is the $700 price tag.Um you are making the Note 2 virtually impossible to resist! :biggrin:
