Look at the G2 its only at 800mhz and it kicks butt. More Rom and RAM is a plus though.

Sweet thanks Miami. If its out next month I will definitely be getting rid of this evo. I love Verizon. But Sprint is cheaper.
If I had a million dollars... by the way my one month trial with Sprint ends on November 5. No pressure, just kidding. Thanks again Miami.

i really hope this is true. i am about to buy a droid x but if this is true i may hold off. i don't remember seeing anything on the verizon road map that said anything about a new htc phone. and would htc release a phone only 12 days after the htc merge that is due out nov 11th?

Merge is the verizion equivalent of the sprint epic. We'll find out soon enough cause i'll keep diggin.

As far as the roadmap did you see the ipad listed there? I can't remeber seeing it then but its being released by vzw next week

well think of it this way.. if they told everyone they were going to release a bad ass phone 12 days after a lesser bad ass phone (is that a word? lesser? lol) how many people would be buying that cheaper phone..

i dont think many and they need sales all around not just on 1 product.. they may attract different crowds but its hard for most people to buy a phone knowing a better one will be out in a couple weeks..

hopefully this is there little dirty secret.. it would make sense.. HTC hasnt put a EVO like phone yet for verizon and if they wait til 2011 they will have to compete with the T2 after ATT gets there mits off it..

keeping high hopes on this rumor.. i have had a feeling for the last couple weeks this one was coming before 2011 and looks like its coming together so far..
