This thread is turning south. Please lets try to keep it on point and not turn into a flamefest. The point is made. Some people are upset information hasn't been released. Others understand that it hasn't been released. There's our recap. Can we leave it at that please?

I just say we all act like adults and learn that all good things come to those who wait... I feel like my 2 year old Niece and Nephew have been posting on here as much as ppl complain lol

Watch out DKunch, a reference like that and you will get burned at the stake around here. A serious question - anyone worried about radiation from this or your current device and if so, how do u try to mitigate?

... if i were miami i wouldnt post anything...

your entitled to your your opinion but your not helping by making comments like that on a forum. Think it to yourself i feel i was bringing up valid points but im done :)

ok ok guys sorry about the wait...

i am super sorry but a ton going on for me behind tbhe scenes..im told to give them an hour or so then we'll be set to go...

again i am not in control of the people i need to be here but thanks for being patient...

as soon as i can get them live here we will post up what they have for you and they can answer some questions...thanks

Looking forward to the update. I feel sorry for you in that the Verizon folks seem to be holding you up. I still think they know this is going public and are trying to control the leak and hold it off until November.

Thanks again for digging info up for us. We all will be very excited when it finally gets posted.

I would like to thank everyone for the thread coming back on again. I'm with y'all, I really am looking forward to the release info and seeing one in person. It would be nice to have the big brother for my little Inc. Donate my Inc to my wife and jump up to the newest model.

These things will be the death of me, or my bank account. Whichever comes first.

I really think Verizon doesn't want this leaked until November (Monday). If for nothing else, its a mind thing. Tomorrow is a holiday so I don't expect anything.

I am not even sure what I am waiting for. We have already seen pics, the date has been all but confirmed, and we know the specs are basically the Desire HD. Now it's become just an OCD/principle thing to keep checking. Ugh. I really wish I had a life and wasn't a smart phone addict.

Here's a question that might be relevant to some while we are waiting:

(1) Regarding the Verizon Annual Upgrade: Mine is Dec 2nd--how flexible are they if I , for example called and asked for them to bump it up a couple days to like Black Friday....etc?

(2) Another question: If you sell your phone to a private party, how to do you disable your info and stop your phone number from being ported over? Or do you have to buy the NEW phone first?

I am sure some of us getting the DINC HD will have to worry about these things, so let's gets these questions out of the way?

If you're that close, there's a pretty good chance you can get some leniency, I believe.

I would look at having the new phone first, get the new one set up and would actually see about getting the Verizon store to completely flash the old back to stock. You can do it yourself but I would personally feel better having the store do it.

Remember that Verizon Wireless roadmap we leaked? Well, it’s all coming together pretty nicely. We have just got our hands on images of one of the upcoming HTC devices we wrote about.

Our source describes the phone as being an EVO in a larger and more polished Nexus One body; brushed aluminum, very upper end of the market, you get the picture. “It makes the Droid 2 look like a kids toy,” our source told us.

No word on if it is a global device, although… we’re betting it is. From what we can see the device has an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, kickstand, 4.3-inch screen, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and, wait for it… a front facing camera.

We don’t have a release date yet (or a name), but we’re already counting down the days until we can get one of these in our offices.

Still looking forward to seeing the final pics as Miami stated the appearance has changed a bit from these earlier leaked pics.

I dont think this is a slider. Look at the power button. And this is an Android phone. U can see the 4 square, 1 white button on this one.

The phone in these pictures does have more in common with the EVO than with the Desire HD from a layout perspective - the head phone jack is at the top for example.

I hope we hear something sooner rather than later, if that's possible. I passed up on getting the DINC for free from Best Buy on Friday. It was such an "incredible" deal that had I not known of this device I would have happily snapped it up. This Thread gave me pre-buyers remorse. :p

So - about the only thing I am seeing that this phone is missing is the micro HDMI jack. But that is a minor set back. The fact that it is going to be a Google experience phone (per Miami) and be packing essentially the Desire HD internals with the next generation processor and GPU then this will be an awesome phone.

I just can't wait to see the updated pictures and final specs. I am hoping that the rumor is true that this device is going to go on sale on the 23rd of November.

Question...
I have a Droid X that was shipped to me on the 25th of this month, and arrived at my house on the 26th. I'm not really that happy with it as it crashes a lot and it's just overall slow/sluggish. If I were to try to get this phone, should I try returning my Droid x now or wait? What do you guys think? I don't really have a back up phone though, so perhaps that's not a good idea.

I tried the DroidX but couldn't stand motoblur. I also felt that it was more laggy/slow than the DINC that was out at the time. The new Droid Incredible HD pictured above is sure to be the best 4.3 Droid you can get until the LTE phones come out next year.
