WinMo absolutley BLOWS! I saw that so quickly coming to the Inc. Best move I ever made.
Once FULLY unlocked, which I expect this phone to become so (just like almost every other HTC device), there is SO much you can do. Just look around the current communities and see just all that is possible once you have an unlocked phone.
I thought why not make my 3k post in one of my favorite threads
Glad to see that this thread is back on track with some decent conversation. A lot better than all the accusations and arguing going on earlier.
And now I wait for more info from miami and this device to drop..

I don't know. Depends. I had the iPhone for 3 weeks and it wasn't very hard to adjust to Android after that. Only thing I'd say is "app discovering". There's plenty of great apps in Android, but its a little harder to find them. Though you can always go to Appbrain.com to find apps with ease.

Interesting. I've put a ton of work into my Sweeterhome set-up and my phone is pretty much exactly how I want a smartphone to be. But I always assumed it would be primarily the cost of apps that prevent people from easily switching (once you dump in $50-$100 or more in apps, it's just an additional cost you don't need if you are satisfied with your phone).
winmo is a good os if u are a buisness user and i hope 7 is awesome:icon_ banana: i really find WM 6.5 to be ok. if u dont use powerpoint or excel then yea it sucks pretty bad
Not too sure about that. The G2 is supposed to be locked down some what from what I have heard.

so how do u like sprint so far?? i have sprint and i love it but the building i work in dont have any service we have verizon boosters but other than that sprint is pretty awesome i always have service and 3g and for the price u cant beat it and customer service is ALOT BETTER prolly #2 provider in my mind vzw#1

I cam really really REALLY close to getting an evo this past summer. That phone was seriously bad to the bone, and I still kind of regret not jumping on it. But supposedly big red is the best in the boonies, and in the city so we will see. Anything is better than att, i'm so sick of getting voicemails from two days ago, and texts that never get sent/reciieved/dropped calls all the time.
Sprint's coverage is definetly alot smaller, which is what kept me from joinin but I do hear their customer service is number one.

hmmmm i c texas... i live in maryland and u can check sprint coverage map its everywere over hear yea when i had tmo i would get text that say hey what up 4 tonight on like a tuesday and they sent that like sat night haha

I like it for the price but i get fill voice and 3g Verizon service when i visit my grandparents in the sticks in Arkansas. The only reason i switched was because i had two previous months where my line cost $150 on my parents family plan. My mom has since decided to upgrade our Verizon plan so i will be getting rid of the Evo although i don't want to get rid of it. :frown: THIS phone should be a good replacement. Also i did not have the chance to try out the 4g network. Although i have herd that 4g is a major drain on the battery.
If i had the money i would keep both.

yea i think they must be sitting back laughing their asses off..
i know the guys busy, all i ask is not to be given times like "an hour" and nothing else for the next 5 hours.. he should of been ok well i cant rely on those verizon guys and just posted the pics and specs, do we really need to ask them questions at the same time the info is released?
thats the part that got me, i personally dont care to ask questions about it at least that quickly after i see the specs/pics its not a press release lol if i get some specs and some more up to date pics of whats to come and the release date stays the same i would be satisfied with that..
am i in the wrong to say that? again im not rushing Miami (he stated he has everything as far as pics and infod) just stating that its not necessary to wait on them solely to ask questions its not like he needs more info from him by what i got out of his last post..
After all this time of checking everyday the last 7 days 100+ times a day at least i was really hoping they would appear before Halloween day but its easy to wonder when a time frame of an hour is given and no follow up after..
plz no one get their panties in a bunch i just want to see what everyone else thinks..
