I think that is a blur camera bug. I don't ever open the previews from inside the camera app for that reason. Just go straight to the gallery app if you want to view the pics you just took. Kind of a PITA, but whatever it takes, right?

the other file you want for the verizon header is an XML file called eri.xml located in your framework/res/xml the name is eri.xml open it with hex editor and edit whats there you are limited to only 16 characters . if your name or logo is shorter then whats there keep hitting space bar until there are no more letters of what use to be there and save . put that back in overwrite your old and your good to go
The lock sliders are .9.png files if you dont look into DRAW9 PATCH , youll be lost . i switched color on theme and they whouldnt work , unless youre just swapping pic for pic . then you are fine but if you edit the pick its self in photo shop it wont work cause its a special image unlike the others these stretch .

i have tryed this and downloaded it and tryed loading it with orginal file name then tryed loading as update.zip, both times without wiping and i get the same result, just stuck at the motorola symbol after reboot systm. but when i load files it says complete no errors?

How long were you stuck at the M logo? Forever? I noticed on my first boot after installing the ROM it took like 5 minutes or more to boot up. I was already searching forums for "Stuck at M Logo" then my phone booted up. I also notice that after a normal reboot, it still takes a lot more time than usual (but it is ok b/c of the awesome boot animation!!). I love this ROM.

I can not for the life of me get the pissing on android boot animation to work. Anyone willing to post what rules I have to follow to get it to work?
I haven't read all the posts about Chevy's rom.... but I don't think this relates to it. Post a thread in the Droid X Hacks section.... somebody should be able to help.... It might even be me... :-D

I may have worded that badly...
What rules do I ed to follow to create one from scratch, image sizes, type of png's to use etc...
Check out this thread HERE There is some good information there. It all depends on what you are making. Whether you are ripping movies... or creating images. I use GIMP for images. Just create layers after layers for each frame.
