Droid emulates iPhone

I use a web based to-do list manager called Tada lists. It autosenses what's being used to browse it, and switches to the appropriate screen size/configuration, ranging from iphone to regular PC.

Before I upgraded to 2.1, Tada lists came up in iPhone mode, which looks and works great on the Droid. Since I upgraded, I get the standard, PC sized web browser, much harder to navigate.

I vaguely remember there was a setting for the browser on my old Nokia 710 that made it look like an iPhone to web sites, but can't seem to find anything that works on the Droid.

One neat thing about Tada on the Droid: any phone number you embed in a to-do list can be dialed automatically by highlighting it.

hey did anybody notice or having the problem, that we still cant send ringtones/sounds?
i thought maybe we would be able to with the update but apparently i was wrong or maybe not finding it?

Is it just me or does the pinch feature NOT rearrange text to fit into the available space? When I tapped the screen to expand the text fits the screen. The pinch feature makes it larger only needing to drag the page to see everything. I prefer the ability to read all with the screen tapvs pinch. Is this something I can change or is pinch only a magnifier?

The update seems fine, nothing mind blowing. Wake me when adobe gets the flash going, that's the real excitement! Can't wait to see more creative live wall papers. Gonna go sit and stare into the star field now ;p

Hi I got my update last night & now LockBot is not working - anyone else with this issue? Im hoping for an easy fix before I uninstall, reinstall. TIA for any help.

Got the update Sunday Morning (I guess the Easter Bunny left it ..)

My only complaint so far is the NO LED when receiving messages or texts now when the phone is sitting in the docking station (WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING!!!).

I know people are saying it's a 2.1 feature.. but I don't like the feature. Before the update, I could walk into the kicthen and immediately see some one had called or sent me a message.. now I have to go over to the phone and hit the home button to see if I have any notifications.. argghh.

PS - And yes, the Live Wallpapers are sweet but not working with Home++ yet... New gallery is cool.. camera still sucks... new news widget is ok. Haven't tested battery life yet... havn't looked for Goggle Earth in market yet ...can you tell I'm at work and cannot use my phone? stupid DOD rules ;-)

just got my 2.1 update 2 days ago. Now the Droid will not auto rotate correctly i have to open and close the key board to get it in the vertical orientaion. Auto orientation is checked. I can not seem to use the virtual keyboard when Iming or texting as the phone always switches to horizontal. Help

I use pinch as a magnifier. I prefer to tap to zoom if I want to read something, then pinch to magnify if I want to click a link. That works okay for me. But I haven't seen a setting that will make the pages fit in the window everytime you pinch to zoom.

seriuosly they took the LEDs off of message notifications for handcent with 2.1? atleast theyre not working for me. if this is the case and it won't be updated, ill uninstall 2.1 just for that alone. its very aggrivating to get totally used to being able to see if you have a new message or missed call by the blinking LED that handcent offers in multiple colors, to have this feature come up missing with this so called "update" we were all waiting FOREVER for. sorry to rant but i mean come on, no LEDs?? that makes me a sad panda..

Since 2.1 mine now won't connect to my wireless network automatically when I get back to my house. When I go to the wireless settings it says "disconnected" but the green check mark is still lit. I have to disconnect and connect manually every time I get home now. Very annoying.

I don't use my location...just use custom location and input where you are.

It works perfectly

If you travel around a lot to different states and counties that could be an issue if you like to have it always update to your current location though.

Anyone experiencing bluetooth connectivity issues? I've been using a jawbone prime for the past 4 moths on 2.0.1 with no issues. However, after an OTA update this past weekend, I can't initiate an outbound bluetooth call. Inbound calls work fine.

I've searched this topic and come up empty so far...
