Maybe Im missing something, but for 32 megs just to shoot a goal in...

or however many megs it is.. maybe Im confusing the size with the football one.. I like the hockey graphics just wish was more ghame play

hockey nation's paid version is more than a "shootout" ...it's a full-feature hockey game (5v5)... hockey is smaller than 32mb... i think like 15mb

Ill have to try the full version then, I actually like the controls so far. I played ice hockey for 9 years when younger so this would be cool

It IS possible that it's only programmed for the PowerVR GPU in the Motorola Droid; and not the AMD GPU in the Droid Incredible.

now i am curious...are thier other games that I (incredible) cant see because of this? You would think that developer would make it accessible for all 2.1 devices. programing for just the droid (or just one phone) seems kind of silly to me. It limits your market...considering that verizon is kicking out new phones every few months.

Strange like i said i have apps2sd too but for me it dont work.

I had the same problem. I ran "fix permissions" from Koush's ROM manager and it fixed it. I have ExZeus running from the sdcard now. Try the fix permissioins script.

The PS3\360 version of Backbreaker is one of my most wanted games of the year. I'm one of those people disappointed in Madden, so I'm hoping and praying that Backbreaker is a solid football game.

This version isn't a full football game, think of it more as a glorified kick return game. Its really to show off the Euphoria engine (the physics engine the game is using).

Its still a blast.

claus u didnt have to do anything for apps2sd. its a special script from german devs. you just need to connect your mobile to pc, put the script on sdcard, start adb, run the script and thats it .

anybody else experiencing frame lag with the football game? also doesn't it seem that the buttons are unresponsive, and you need to tilt the phone to a really awkward angle to run forward?

Seems normal to me, I hold my phone at like a 60 degree angle or so and seems comfortable enough for me, then you just tilt it left or right, takes some getting used to but I personally think it was well done dancedroid

It's not so much that the AMD GPU is weak (although it has 1/2 the pixel fillrate) as it is the PowerVR uses a completely different method of dealing with texture compression. At the current moment, most of the high-end games are storing the textures uncompressed on the AMD - which means alot more memory bandwidth is being used. Once the games are optimized for both ATITC and PVRTC; I think the playing field will be leveled out a bit (although Asphalt 5 will likely NEVER run as well on an Incredible as it does on a MotoDroid OCed to 1.0GHz - OR the Droid will have 'fancier' graphics)

As I posted on the last page, I did some Googling and a lot of people with HTC seem to not have it showing on their market, must be a hardware issue wih the phone he devs haven't worked with yet
