Holiday Theme Contest:

sorry i am not trying to hijack the thread i know its for the contest.

ok this is for kook well i have been trying to get your beautiful widgets skin on my droi1 running ud2.1 so i can finish off my holiday theme im using cush2push'e xmas them on it but i need a themed clock. but im having trouble following the install directions. ive tried using root explorer and astro to find the folder you speak of but i cant seem to find it? this migh tbe beyond me but it seems simple.

"I also made a matching Beautiful Widgets skin. So if you have the app, you can unzip it and drag the folder into data/beautifulwidgets/skins and it should come up as an option."

great work by the way everyone lovin the xmas themes everyone that sees my droid1 say WOW! and then they ask how can i get that.

I'm sorry. The folder is on your SD card. Not the "data" section people normally think of. Go to the root of your SD card and look for data there.

Carl.. I ported this to UD.. I tried to make it as plain as day I had nothing to do with the theme... make sure there is nothing else you want to add or me to change

Thanks for porting it. The only thing I can think of that may be different is the lock sliders in framework-res.apk. For the X, they are named differently than for the D1. Might want to check that out just in case!

Here's my entry. Took longer than I expected, but when I themed certain things, I started seeing more stuff I wanted to theme to make it look better. I couldn't stop....haha. So I forced myself to stop....otherwise, I'd never get it entered.

I made it ONLY for UD 2.3. I'm not going to port it to any other ROMs, but feel free to port it yourself. I'll even host it on my server so you can have a direct download. Just please don't try and submit it as your own. PC747 already knows.

I made an ADW Launcher theme. Just install it with Astro or Root Explorer. It's a great addition to the theme and completes it. I provided a download for DF members to enjoy, but you can find it on the market for .99 and I would greatly appreciate a donation.

hey Kookahdoo,

is your holiday theme for the D1 UD2.3.0 ? got stuck on boot loop with my d1.. never happens. really like the way the Screen shots look.
