Did you make /system RW instead of RO in root explorer?? Cause I JUST got done replacing mine with the DroidX animation. (Hey, I'm using the DroidX theme so... )

Yes, I did make /system RW and copied the bootanimation.zip (different from the first one I tried) and I still get Saphire bootanimation.

I.....have NO IDEA then. I just literally did it a little while ago and I'm getting the Droid X animation now. I wish I knew what to tell you.

Ok, I just did it again to data/local and it worked.

All I know is that since I loaded this and enabled compcache I HAVE NOT HAD ONE REDRAW ON LP!!! I've been testing it too. Don't know if it's the Rom, compache, LP updates or a combo but I'm digging it 4sure!

Me too. I'm absolutely loving this rom. And I was surprised to find that I actually liked a theme! I usually stay with stock but the Droid X theme intrigued me, and I gotta say, I LOVE it! My phone ROCKS now!! Tomorrow I get to go hound my local VZW store to see if I can get a discount on a femtocell and then I can drop my landline!

I've noticed the same thing!!! This is one of MANY reasons I am LOVING this ROM!!!

I can't stop redraws with any rom....guess I have to many widgets on my screens...really not to conerned about it either

What launcher you using? I have a TON of widgets and this is the only ROM that has stopped my redraw issue.

the only time i get a redraw on LP is when i take my phone out of my car dock or media dock, do you guys get one there?
