Home ++ (another home replacement)

Where are you guys hosting your images from?

if you are talking about the qr codes, I am getting mine at QR-Code Generator
generate whatever you want and make non-smartphone users green with envy.

Thanks.... but I posted in the wrong thread.... i removed it. I was looking to post a screen shot with Home++ but I didn't wanna have to sign up for image hosting as I barely do any image work.

Photobucket is free and highly recommended.

Well, one thing I noticed is that you can now set in preferences to have the home screen switch to landscape without opening the slider. Not sure if that option was there before the update. On a related note, I had my first force close ever last night shortly after download. Haven't had anymore though so we'll see...

Landscape autorotate! This was something that worked for about two days on my droid and then stopped. The consensus was that this function was never supposed to work on the release version and no one ever fully explained why some phones had it and lost it briefly after launch. I use the phone in landscape without the slider quite a bit so I'm happy (if surprised) to see this!

I like the added power buttons as well. Now if only there was some way to get the beautiful widget developer to make an animated version for Home++...

How are you accessing the configurations for Home++? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks, in advance.

Press the menu button and choose preferences.

Anyone know if there's a way to disable wallpaper looping or know if he'll implement that feature? Most of my wallpapers will chop.

That's the thing... I don't get a 'preferences' option, only "Home chooser", "Manage Applications", and "Our website". What am I doing wrong? (note: already uninstalled, re-installed twice).

Thanks again, in advance.

On your home screen press the 'menu' button (4 lines)... this will bring up the 'preferences' menu, among other things. (i.e. notifications, settings, etc.)

Hit the capacitive settings button on the bottom of the phone from any home screen. Preferences is an option that comes up.

Thanks, that did it!

The new update in Home++ is great! Runs really smooth and I don't remember having the option for up to 7 screens before? Did I miss that. The addition of the "which page status" bar at the bottom is fantastic too! This is definitely my favorite one to use so far. Just wish I could customize the icons. Maybe next update.

I just recently made a request for an option so that the first and last homescreen ends on the left and right edges of the wallpaper so we don't get cutoffs. If he gets that worked out, awesome!!

This has already replaced GDE as my primary home replacement as of yesterday's update.
