Have you killed the widgets running on the default home app as well? They'll live on in the background, which I've heard can be a battery drain (I'd guess that this would be true for all replacement home apps if the case.) I haven't noticed a diff in battery life, but I use the phone very variably so haven't done a stringent comparison.
another option rather then having icons all over the screen is to setup folders like this.... if i had all my installed apps on the screens i dont think i have enough room even with 7 screens
I installed this and a few other things on Saturday and my phone was acting up in the sense that I would touch app shortcuts either through the tray or on a screen to the right of the home (main) screen and nothing would happen. It would flash like it's highlighted, and would even let me drag it with a long press, but a simple single touch wasn't opening programs?
I don't want to alarm anyone, but I'm trying to weed out the culprit. I downloaded Home++, Rss Widgetboard and Aggrogamer's widget all on Saturday morning and it was acting up even after factory data resets so I got rid of all of them. If anyone else has issues, let me know.
Ok, after a days worth of use, I lied. The stability actually seems to be much more of an issue now than it was pre update. Really disappointed with that. Seemed better at first. But, it does still flip home pages a bit more smooth than it did before.
definitely going in the right direction with the newest update, home++ is now a constant on my droid. I am glad the apps have changed in the scrolling dock, but i would still like to be able to put which ever apps i want in down there, instead of a preselected bunch.
