Looks great...I'd like to try it.

I've found that when I load some themes, I don't have all the widgets required to make it go....is there a way for the author to let you know what is requried?

^^ They should list it in the description, though it is not required. Good theme developers will label the widget block properties also (ie: my block for my Facebook widget is called "WidgetFacebook", makes it easier to design, as well as for the next guy)

I think theme devs should include in their description:
-Name of device used to design
-List of widgets used (by page would help)
-List of images needed (if any)
-Any special instructions or notes

I've been dev'ing one since last night after everything I learned on my first theme... keeping it under wraps until I have some more time to work on it. I think a lot of people will like it though.

Okay, well I have a few icon packs, when i choose Add Image > Local, the only option I have is to choose from pictures I've taken or downloaded. How do I navigate to other locations, say my SD card?

Yeah you can't add something from an icon pack as an image. Only as an icon using apps like Better Cut.

Has anyone created a custom car home screen that includes an icon that launches audio apps like Droidlive or Mixzing? I've been trying on my own and it looks hideous!

YES! I saw a great one on a blog and I can't remember where, now....

The theme listing will eventually be redesigned. It'll display the screen res of the build, and you should be able to click through and read the FULL description. Not sure when this will come out though.

Sweet! I was more saying it as a recommendation to people on here that might post, but that sounds awesome!

Great work on the app thus far, it's simply brilliant the way the GUI is designed. :rating10: :clap:

Me being a programmer in a prior life I can really appreciate it, and with a few pointers I even got my not-tech-savvy girlfriend making themes on her Droid! :wink:

After playing with Sweeter Home for the better part of a day, I think I'm going to switch back to Home++.

SweeterHome has a lot of options I really like - The ability to put more icons on the screen (through a tray with custom icon sizing and spacing), the ability to put widgets where I want to put them, rather than in a 4x4 grid is especially nice. Different displays in portrait and landscape is nice. Springboards are really neat. But when push comes to shove, I can't wait 6 seconds for my home screen to load. SweeterHome is just TOO slow. Perhaps some speed improvements are in the works somewhere down the line and I'll try it out again, then.

I reinstalled SweetHome2 after finally getting control back to my Droid (red eye freeze).

Its been on my device for about 6 hours and now my device is getting sluggish.
Is there a Optimize option (like with OpenHome)?

Also I chose a pic as my wallpaper from my Gallery, but now I find that when I download a theme the themes wallpaper doesn't over righting my wallpaper.
I would like to see the themes wallpaper when I first install them just to see what developer of the theme had in mind for wallpaper.

How can I get the themes wallpaper to show when I install them?

Dev is planning this for a future version.

But when push comes to shove, I can't wait 6 seconds for my home screen to load.

Mine takes a while on some themes too... like 12 secs. I've sent the dev a few logcats so he can figure out why. On his Droid the longest time he gets for resume is 2 secs.

So hopefully will be much snappier soon. I've had version in the past (before the public beta) which took 2 seconds at the extreme longest to resume, and that's on a Magic.

lemon....are all my tagged trays supposed to be empty now? how do i refill them? or do i have to start all over with a theme? :icon_eek: everything is empty from my saved to sdcard theme

Backing up the old version and installing now, I'll let you know how it goes...

In case anyone was wondering, no need to remove the old version as the new version will replace it.

Also, my MotoRage theme that's in progress was completely in tact after the switch, didn't have to set anything back up.

Thoughts to come after I edit a few screens and get a chance to play with things a bit.
