How long does it take to get the Incredible?

What exact customer service number did you call?

I called the generic number 1.800.922.0204 (or *611 from your Verizon phone). Put in my account info, other options and then said order status. I got patched through to a person and just asked what the estimated ship date of my order was knowing the phone was on backorder.

its a general message you get when you order online.. its gonna take you right around a month to get the HTCinc.. you shoulda just waited until the 15th and gotten an X... same price for an all around better phone..i canceled my order because i still wouldnt have my X until next week ( 7/9 ) and since the X comes out on teh 15th im going to either have one that day or order one and have one in a couple days..

I like the features of the X, but not the size. I still want a smaller physical phone and the Incredible is still MILES beyond my current phone, a Chocolate 3.

Hi, just registered. Just wanted to let you guys know that amazon currently has them in stock. I just placed my order, with free 2 day shipping. It's estimated to be delivered on the 7th.

I had such a tough time deciding between the X and the Incredible, but in the end, although I believe the X to be the superior phone, I think I would favor the size of the incredible over the X. And I really couldn't pass up on the opportunity to have the Incredible available to me so soon. I still would like to see the X in person, and who knows, I may end up returning the Incredible for the X, but I'm just excited to be getting a new phone w/ verizon after dealing with att and their BS for so long.

You can try and call local verizon stores and see if they are in stock. they do get them still even with the back order. Once i decided i wanted the incredible i called around and a store a mile from my house had 2 left in stock. had it up and running with in 20 min.

Hey folks. First post on droidforums!

Waiting on my Dinc to be delivered. Ordered 6/8, originally estimated to ship on 6/29. Called on 6/29 to confirm - told it was delayed. Called this morning (7/5) and they confirmed that it's shipped - due tmrw, 7/6!! Can't wait!

Strange, but while I've confirmed that they have my correct email address on file, I've never gotten ANY email notification from VZ on the order status, ship status, nor any correspondence on the $25.00 'thanks for waiting' credit that some are being notified of. Not a peep - I've had to call all along the way.

They always seem to find a way to send me my bill, though!

I ordered mine 6/15..Estimated 7/11..Had to order a new phone because my Dare's battery started to swell and shuts on and off randomly..so i went with the Incredible, damn i can't wait to get it already...
