What exact customer service number did you call?
I called the generic number 1.800.922.0204 (or *611 from your Verizon phone). Put in my account info, other options and then said order status. I got patched through to a person and just asked what the estimated ship date of my order was knowing the phone was on backorder.
its a general message you get when you order online.. its gonna take you right around a month to get the HTCinc.. you shoulda just waited until the 15th and gotten an X... same price for an all around better phone..i canceled my order because i still wouldnt have my X until next week ( 7/9 ) and since the X comes out on teh 15th im going to either have one that day or order one and have one in a couple days..
I like the features of the X, but not the size. I still want a smaller physical phone and the Incredible is still MILES beyond my current phone, a Chocolate 3.
