How long will it take before something better is out?

Clearly you have no idea what the Bionic is supposed to come with and what is currently possible technologically. Maybe you should do some actual research before making statements that are patently false. If you dont want to do that and you feel like the only advantage the bionic has is LTE, and you dont feel it is worth it, then don't buy it. But please don't come on the forum and make untrue statements that you obviously have no idea about.

Haha qHD+ is my version of the next resolution name. But I'm all for verizon, just pisses me off how they have phones over 200 and get their phones delayed over and over, they don't even have a 4g dual core yet. I'm just stating those extra features to get verizon back on the map as not only a dominate customer service and network carrier but also phone. I do love lte though, its really really fast

Give them a couple more months. Verizon is about to get a slew of new beastly phones within the next couple of months: Bionic, Vigor, Revolution 2, GS2, Nexus Prime, Droid HD.

I am currently happy with my DROID 3 and can wait til the end of this year to see what phones are out and/or on the horizon... it will be an exciting fall lineup for sure...

the only thing that could be better than the bionic is a phone with a bigger screen and more ram!Why do i say this ?Well for one when it gets rooted you can overclock it and it will be one of the first devices with icecream sandwich (because of the google-moto merger moto phones will get updated first) So unless you want a bigger screen i would just get the bionic the screen is the only thing that is giving me second thoughts.:icon_eek:

The phone is worth 299 because of the LTE and 32gb card then it has 1080p video and reported good battery all you need is a solar powered battery back up
(i have seen them on amazon for under 30 bones)Root overclock and holy crap on a cracker you would be crazy to need any more power from a phone stop looking at specs and look at quality moto has game set and match with the Bionic:blackdroid:

Clearly I know, it has 1ghz dual core with 1 gb ram and a 4.3 or 4.5 inch screen with qhd and 1080p vid rec. I know what the bionic comes with, its gonna be like my droid 3 but with a .3-.5 inch larger screen, more ram and lte, minus the keyboard. I'm just stating that besides the lte, its not a special phone and not worth all the hype. Should've released when expected months ago, then it would be an amazing hit.

I'm sorry, but your comparison to the Photon and D3 are so limited that they are just reinforcing that you don't know much about the phone.
And why should they have released it months ago? It wasn't ready months ago. Do you really think they should have released a bug filled unfinished phone?

Sorry to tell you, but no one knows about the phone, until they official release the specs no one knows anything. And everybody predicted it would release early summer, EVERYBoDY, and it didn't, they should've gave it out earlier, they should've got rid of all the bugs earlier, but because its getting a late release, they are gonna have fewer sales then what they would've had

And since you're saying they should've gave it out earlier, why not last year? or 5 years ago? or 20?
Its ready when its ready and shouldn't release until it is. and if anyone has issues with that, maybe they should start their own cellphone company and see how easily they can release their own futuristic phones.

Oh, and if no one knows about the phone, that means you don't know about the phone, so how do you know its just the Photon with LTE and just the D3 with no keyboard, bigger screen, more RAM and LTE? are you saying that you are no one?

You contradict yourself. You say no one knows the specs, yet you say that its just a slightly upgraded photon, if no one knows, how do you know its just an upgraded photon? And yeah they should have gotten rid of the bugs earlier. America also should have gotten out of this recession last year, and people should have gotten all their jobs back, but life doesn't work that way things take work and time. Also, everybody predicted it would come out early summer because it was supposed to, but then because of bugs that Motorola didn't predict would be so hard to fix, they decided to retool and upgrade the phone and release it later in the summer, which they told us.

And I stated that no one truly knows the phone because you stated that I had no knowledge of it, I don't, we go off of speculation, and other media findings, the droid bionic is very similar to the photon, like I said, its cheaper and lte less is the only real diffrences between them, and about the release time, everybody knows this phone has been delayed, even motorola, go back to february and ask any moto sales rep and they would've told you the bionic would come out early summer. Just a bad part on moto, I don't know if you go through these forums, but there are plenty of people stating that they are now waiting for the sgs2 or other products.

And you're still saying that no one knows the phone, yet you know that its like the photon except the photon is cheaper and has no LTE. which is it? Does nobody know or do you know its just like the Photon?
And yes there are people on these forums saying they are now waiting on something else. The thing is, people on these forums are always getting info about the next phone, so no matter when a phone is released, some people are just going to look for the next best thing. But to the people who don't read/post on these forums(which is the vast, vast, vast majority of consumers) they just want whatever is "coolest" or most advanced now. A phone that is released unfinished and with bugs isn't cool. regardless of how far ahead it is released of other phones that they know nothing about.
