Thanks for the step by step instructions. Worked (almost) perfectly. Installed the Samsung driver on my computer successfully but when I got to the step (#11) to verify the Android 1.0 driver was installed I got an error that said it wasn't. I followed the instructions earlier in this thread, successfully installed the driver, and from that point everything went perfectly. Thanks, again.
Yep... it stayed unlocked. Pretty sure that wouldn't change at all with any software updates. It was the official update and I ran the command for rooting after the update and it rooted just fine. Just was kinda funny when I ran superuser and it told me access was denied!
Thank you sir! And thank you for the clarification. I was already on 4.0.2 when I rooted and posted. I thoight at first, "Wow! That was fast! People weren't kidding, I guess, about getting fast updates on these things!"
But it is nice to onow that the bootloader should stay unlocked after taking an OTA. Thanks, bro!

Oh gee... I just got the GN yesterday and today I find it roots and unlocks the bootloader using my old-high-schoo-but-now-current nickname? Heck yes!!! Superboot will definitely use superboot to unlock his Nexus!!!
