I do believe 4g will start this year buy in air cards, no phone till 2011, but at this point 2011 is only 6 weeks away. (hard to believe. Where did 10 go???)

HTC Droid Incredible Retires? Incredible HD Taking Over?

When are the people from the "Seinefeld" thread that was locked (a lot of posts about nothing) going to eat their crow? I guess this thread became Seinfeld 2
Besides one person being told of the release, that was it. Further contradicting this was no FCC info, regional managers said no, VZW already has several devices releasing (none I like though), no Inc HD on the roadmap for 2010, etc, you folks still latched on to what one person said- who heard it from somebody else.
In spite of this lack of information and obvious result today, some of you had the nerve to flame people that tried to throw logic into the discussion. You even hung on yesterday. Jeepers.
enough with this crow crap. Been seeing this for past 20 pages. quit beating the dead horse again and again.
People already ate it? I miss EVERYTHING. Dang it.
On a somber note, the rest of 2010 seems a tad lame IMO- Inc HD would be a sweet device for December, but looks like a Q1 device. Perhaps am in-house competitive counter to the almost certain iPhone for Q1?

I think VZW is trying to give the Iphone some space around it's launch my not releasing anything too revolutionary until a couple of months after the iphone's launch. To the average consumer, iphone is the holy grail of smartphones and droid are second rate (although we know they're actually more capable devices). This makes some sense that there's been enough rumors in the mainstream media about iphone coming to vzw in January that the average consumer knows about that. So until then VZW has good but not cutting edge androids for people who want to buy now, and for everyone else there will be the iphone. This just makes it difficult for enthusiasts like us to wait for the next latest and greatest. By delaying the DINC HD, VZW may have done us a favor allowing us to get a truly next gen phone from one of the other manufacturers next year as our next phone.

I can't stand this BB Tour any longer but i don't want to get stuck in a contract. I know as soon as I get a X or Dinc they are going to announce a super phone for Q1 2011. I've been sitting on this upgrade since August, I would have went 1 year on a X if I knew this would be the outcome of this phone.
You might want to think about using eBay. Like you, I felt like I was stuck with my Eris. I've since moved on to a Dinc without affecting my contract.

Looks like I'm iPhone bound in January if another Droid device doesn't show.
Don't be so quick to jump on the iPhone bandwagon. I've had iPhones since day one, and can honestly say, that the Dinc is a welcome breath of fresh air. Put it this way. I have to set my iPhone on call forwarding when I'm away from my home-microcell. Otherwise, all I get is call failed.
I would guess the only way to get new sense on the OG Dinc would be Root and put it there yourself.
I guess this is all the info we have so far, but at least its a couple of new pics I havent seen yet of the Inc HD

There are two ROMs on XDA that have the new sense, the Desire HD and Desire Z ROMs. They've been out for about a month....BUT the camera doesn't work yet although the developer says a fix is pending. I've been running the Z as my daily for the better part of a month now and really like it.
I am just trying to understand something.. Upgrades do not expire!!! All you have to do it wait it out to the 1Q of 2011. Why settle to get another phone and these phone are LTE or even This phone Incredible HD weather it has 3g or 4g. Some of you guys are settling for another phone then after you get in then when these phones do get released you are going to want to kick yourselves for being so impatient... you got phones that work some may be crappy and some may be just ok but I would just wait it out you guys will not be disappointed!!!!
