Looking at projections this will be in line with the rest.. so as kick a$$ as it looks now I have to agree that when it finally launches it may just be one of the rest.. they are going to have to beef it up to match the specs of the coming phones.. only time will tell..

Well as another poster said, HTC is a pretty smart company. If this phone gets pushed to Q1, I think they would have to pump up the specs of the device. They would get ripped apart in reviews if they didn't.
When are the people from the "Seinefeld" thread that was locked (a lot of posts about nothing) going to eat their crow? I guess this thread became Seinfeld 2 
Besides one person being told of the release, that was it. Further contradicting this was no FCC info, regional managers said no, VZW already has several devices releasing (none I like though), no Inc HD on the roadmap for 2010, etc, you folks still latched on to what one person said- who heard it from somebody else.
In spite of this lack of information and obvious result today, some of you had the nerve to flame people that tried to throw logic into the discussion. You even hung on yesterday. Jeepers.

No need to rub salt in peoples' wounds, but I think a lot of posters here check common sense at the door when they start to post. You can chalk that up to excitement and enthusiasm which is a good thing, but people still need to look at evidence and not just word of mouth.

the tegra 2 will be a Droid for verzon. it will be better than any other moto tegra thats getting released for att, sprint or t-mobile. Lets just say it’s verizon's Ferrari to the other carriers honda civic. The tegra 2 that is.

We really don't know for sure what VZW's holiday roadmap looks like. We've seen leaks, but we really don't know. We'll just have to wait and see.

ok, i don't see the 4g. the pic isn't good, but i can plainly see the 3g. Why would a phone have a 3g and a 4g visible at the same time. maybe i'm reaching here but it makes no sense to me...????
That's the symbol to show that the phone is acting as a WIFI hotspot. My guess is that they just haven't updated the icon to show 4G. I'm curious what it looks like on the EVO when it goes into hotspot mode.

Agree completely. Despite 4G it will feel like a last generation device, UNLESS they increase screen resolution.

Well, I don't know about everyone else but I'm gonn continue to keep the faith for 2 reasons...
1.) I work for a company that has a contract with Verizon...all of or managers, sales reps, and each department has a verizon wireless phone. That's over 500 lines that we pay verizon for. Well, Verizon recently contacted my work about taking Incredibles and X's off their hands for a smokin deal...next thing I knew our office was FILLED with box after box of the X and Incredible phones. The way I see it, they really wanna get these phones off their hands...for something bigger and better to come along. And I'm not talking the Pro or anything like that.
2.) Got an email this morning from a rep I've been talking to about switching to Verizon Wireless. In the email it states 4G/LTE is coming 2010! Learn more at: https://www.lte.vzw.com/
If that's the case, I still say it's ok to hope this phone will be out before the end of the year...
