So, I read all this release stuff on the 17th then why does VZ site still ask you to sign up and coming soon. Why not just say the 17th. I am skeptical

Don't be skeptical. Call any VZW retail store, they confirm it. Check out news.vzw.com, it confirms it. Etc.

As others stated already you can find all over Verizon website.. now the page still only showing coming soon .. well it is still coming soon.. it is not launched till Thursday..

Just spoke with the Verizon down the street from my house. They got 40 in. Said the only lines they have had for releases was for the Iphone and there were only 10 in line for that. Thursday's the day!!!! Woo hoo!!

Im glad when.I reserved this phone at BB I chose to put the $50 down on a BestBuy gift card. I am no longer getting the Thunderbolt and will be looking forward to one of the later (better) 4G phones that will be.released on Verizon
