I just called verizon to see if im eligible for my upgrade and the guy said yes then hes like im just curious what phone are you planning on upgrading to and i told him the thunderbolt since its coming out very soon and hes like oh no your mistaken only the iphone is coming out soon the thunderbolt wont be for a couple months, and i was just like uhh not from what i heard and got off the phone with the guy lol...they try to play stupid and act like its not coming out for a long time but theyre terrible at acting and trying to pull it off

Don't you read the news ? Pre-order is sold out . It was this morning and they stopped it after 2 hours . in those 2 hours they sold more phones than any other phone in history in a full day of it's launch .

It's confirmed for Best Buy, but does this also include Verizon pre-order?
Nothing is "official" or "not a rumor" without some sort of supporting evidence. You can't just talk to your cousin's best friend's roommate Carl who is a 42-year-old stock boy at the BestBuy in Wooster, Ohio.
I know that there have been some "leaked" fliers from this Sunday's paper that pre-orders will start then, but we still don't have "official" word.

Kidding of course - I suppose my point is that I wouldn't toss around the word "official" based on hearsay, no matter who you hear it from. There has to be a link or some sort of press release to back it up. Otherwise it's just a "likely possibility based on information from a credible source that you spoke to."
Also, how can you be the northern regional manager of the US, Canada AND Mexico...? There's gotta be a southern regional manager in there somewhere
