Smart Actions?

I had no problems rooting. Double-clicked the "run" file after unzipping the RAZR Blade DL and followed the on-screen instructions. You have to activate the battery saver Smart Action and then hit a key on the keyboard to reboot the device again to get root. This is all explained in the simple on-screen instructions. Is this what you're referring to? I only use one Smart Action, quiet at night, and it's still there.

It took me three tries to get it to work. My issue was I had my phone set to USB mass storage mode. Once I switched to camera mode the script ran perfectly!!

Just follow the directions... It was the first thing I did was upgrade, wipe, revert, re-upgrade, root. No issues... Except getting Circles to stick but I need the stock homescreen apk so I can wipe the Razr M data and put everything on here so I can hopefully generate a M Circle Launcher 1 click installer.

Root achieved thanks for the razr blade program. Failed on the first try, changed the USB mode from Mass Storage to MTP and it worked on the second try.

That's good but for anyone else you have to put it media mode not charge only or mass storage.

However, I decided not to download the JB from other site, since some people were having lots of problems, and am now awaiting for the official OTA to appear. Is it mandatory to wipe or anything else while waiting? I backed up my data, apps and sms. Thanks guys for all of your help.

As long as you are stock .211, you're fine. Some folks say you should FDR before and after.. but I've only done that only when I've had problems.

Took the wifes phone from 215 back to 211...no problems...worked great! Downloaded the update and side loaded it...no problems....worked great! No FDR. Not needed. The phone is happy. It is a razr maxx.

Anyone missing Speed Dialig. I am! If u miss it contact Motorola! If we don't let them know we miss it - they simply won't know! They have determined that SD'ing was no longer needed because they gave us Voice dialing! OK, let me try that in the hospital or the movies!
