Will your phone tell u clock speed (1.2 ghz vs 1 ghz) or do you need an app with ics

quadrant standard under the system info tab tells you everything, so does the free version of system panel, to set your governors and manage your clockspeed, scheduler, etc, get rom toolbox pro and after you learn to play with things in there (CPU Sliders, Performance tab) you can go for an actual overclocking app, like tweakerz OC, and adjust the clockspeed and voltings of your clock slots.

Also, The 246 that was parked on the qa server was that 246 non flashable engineering build. We need some rooted 905er to copy the update from their cache to somplace permanent before you let it install so we can hash it and make sure (it is of course) that it's the 246 we're all running already.

their post doesn't say a specific time. also it's going out in waves so you may not get it right away. all I know is we'll get it when we get it. :biggrin:

And if it's like other updates it'll be very random. Not like you could see a pattern on a map.

moto has apparently executed some very interesting jiggery pokery with 246/247 which is why we're all keen to see the hashes, forget about your $100 price cut

as of a few minutes ago the servers were being purged to prepare for the upgrade, we do know midnight pacific to 5 pm pacific tomorrow is the start window and of course it does go out in batches of 50-100 at a time. we have no idea if it will push and be available for pull simultaneously, but that has never been the case before.

Look by the time they say yes or no to jb for us the phone will only be worth $100. You have to turn in your old phone to get the credit also. I can down down to the mall here in town and use the electronic e waste machine and it will pay me 200 for it now. So I am not swayed by the 100 promise.
