Ics soak test has begun!!!!!!!!

hey i upgraded to .246 this am but for some reason i getting stuck at bootloop after my battery drained and auto shut down. I tried clearing cache and factory data reset in motorola recovery mode but not luck. Damn if only i had safestrap =(.
Any ideas what i should do now? i dont think i can fxz back to .902 or .905. I have no clue if verzion released the file for fxz to .246

Use the reinstall option on the HoB. Start at the flash step after manually booting into ap fastboot mode. (power + volume down). Skip the transfer check hash and reboot steps and start on flashing. I'd recommend a charged battery this time. ;)

ok thanks. but is it the same process because i was on .246 official and used it all day until a couple of hours ago when the battery died and i got a bootloop. (i must have removed some bloat that i shouldnt have or play around with a script.) Its my first time using HoB

905 to 246

Sam do you think its correct use 246 file from HOB support files there are 3 files one is the OTA,
just put 246 file on my ext sd card and update it from stock recovery? I am in GB 905 unrooted. Thanks

All of these questions are answered on here 100 times! It's crazy the lack of searching! I'm good on .232 until the update is available to everyone. Its 10 times better than gingerbread, so I'm not greedy! Lol

So everything went fine with me the second time through. I did everything the same the second time but for some reason on try #2 after it copied the file RSD opened up like it was supposed to which it didn't on try #1. After that it was cake...up and running now. Thank you so much.

SamuriHL thanks got back right on to .246 without a hitch

reminder to self... gonna put on ss3 and nandroid =). Starting from fresh takes some time =/

Since soak didn't work, used HoB. Worked like a charm (duh). Read everything twice, went through all the steps, ICS on my Bionic finally. Why didn't I do this earlier?? SamuriHL you are awesome. Great work.

The update zip file has to be on your sdcard-ext in order for the reinstall option to work. If the phone isn't booting you have to pull the sdcard and copy it there manually. The update zip I include in the HoB is the same that you got ota. Once you get the update zip on the sdcard use the reinstall option in the HoB and skip the transfer check hash and reboot steps. Start at the flash step. Your phone must be booted into ap fastboot mode manually before starting the HoB. Follow the on screen directions. It's the equivalent of an fxz with the extra step of having to apply the update in recovery to get a working phone.

There are at least 5 people in my area who have Bionics. Four in TN, one in IN. All of us have gotten the OTA.

Not in Chattanooga. My cousin is going nuts.hahaha

House Of Bionic's. 246 ICS. Read ALL about it!

I've been stuck on "upgrading media database" for over 15 hrs. I do have about 28 gig of music on my sd. This is beyond insane. I'm going to have to pull my battery and reboot because I need my phone for work. Huge fail if the general public has to go through this!!

That will break the gallery. Just want you to understand.
